I believe this to be 100% true, AOB does not play to teams weaknesses, you’d think back when we were against the titans that they would try to target Kini’s lack of height, but we didn’t try it once.

He doesn’t care if a team decide to leave their wings open, he has to go by the plan of hit ups and kick long

I was replying to @Defence wins games , not you.

Personally I think there’s problems with the coaching and the players. It’s not just one or the other … the whole place is falling to bits lol.

But changing tactics mid-game, players need to be able to flick the switch on that stuff imo. They’re the ones out there.

Sorry Mozza he was my VC in supercoach......... Only listened to this game pretty drunk, so glad I chose to play PlayStation instead and half ignore it, still find myself dropping numerous expletives, commentators were laughing at how bad we are.
 
I still can’t get over him saying they lost to the draw.

They’ve had one of the easiest draws in the comp with plenty of 7 and even 8 day turn arounds.

To complain about scheduling when you’ve only got 1 Origin player is just embarrassing

They’ve had 7 scoreless halves this year and are only averaging 13 points per game. The Storm are averaging 33.

The schedule is the least of their problems
 
POS has come out and said that there’s always player movement, which is true, teams try to clear cap space for stuff every year and another team’s overpaid $500K prop can end up becoming your correctly paid $350K prop. Or you get Dom Young back for less than his true value.

But essentially that means he’s given up on the idea of signing another young guy with sky high potential like Latu or Pahulu. We’ve whiffed on them all and there’s no one left & it’s just waiting for opportunities now. Which means there’s no real control over who you might get.

Gus is speedrunning trying to turn his deep bullpen of pretty good players into one with more top drawer talent - which means they’ll likely move someone - and the Titans had to pay Kini over a million a season to lock him down & might be bringing Sexton back, so that’s almost $5 million tied up in Kini, Tino, Fifita, Brimson & Campbell, after there’d already been chat of them doing a bit of a cleanout. Those are the clubs I’d imagine are most likely to move a middle or two…

Yeah that one was the crusher I was talking about somewhere on here. That crusher was a bad one, the exact crusher the rule was brought in to stop. Yet 2 weeks? Sharpe was stopped, held up and Henry dropped his weight down on Sharpe's neck.

Where Leo's the player turned in the tackle moving at speed, and it sort of just happened. 3 weeks. + 1 for loading or something.

NRL has no idea.

AFAIK, the loading was 1 game, so without any priors, he was going to get 3. Vs the 2 Henry got.

"3rd & Subsequent Offence"....is the problem.

It makes it an automatic 5-match ban for a grade 2 crusher, 4 with an early plea.

The “journalists”, “commentators “ and , wait for it,”legends”, are bigoted echo chambers who love to put the knife into the Knights, irrespective of any decisions the club make.
Yes, we are absolutely horrible at the moment, but we seem damned if we do and damned if we don’t.
There has been a lot of NRL viewing in my house with volume on “off”, particularly Saturday, when viewing choice is limited to Fox.

You're seeing it today.

Cherry's old but he may still be the best 7 in the game at getting his team humming and piling on the points when on the front foot.

Ultimately Cleary's more patient "slow strangulation" style & ability to flip the field with the right kick is probably more valuable in winning comps, but if you want a 7 who'll lead your team to cricket score wins when the going is good, Cherry is still the man.
 
They were very impressive tonight. The are great to watch when they’re on. Fingers crossed we get the inconsistent Manly next week or it could get ugly.

At least it’s not at Brookvale.
 
I did NOT watch the game, so this is a genuine question;
Why is everyone praising Fletcher Hunt like he’s the second coming of Timana Tahu when he made 16 runs for 91 metres, and 7 errors. And a missed tackle for good measure.
