NRL Round 13 - Dragons Vs Knights - 8:00pm Friday 30th May - Jubilee Stadium

Well I may have been watching gags pretty close tonight.......a centre who's switched on passes the ball at least 6 times to his winger to create opportunities. All of which he did not take. Yeah his been one of the better players but C'mon if we are serious about the future gags is the one to make way so why not do it now. He can be the back up rather than first choice.
Trying something is better than nothing? @mozza @Chaister

Manly are the exact kind of team that loves putting a score on when they get on the front foot though. That could be the wake up call game for Wests.
They’ve only got 20 minutes of good footy in them. To be fair that will still be enough to beat us pretty comfortably but I think we’ll compete for the most part and keep it somewhat close.

Well I don’t think you watched as close as you think you did with Gags as there has been a few games this year he was pretty ordinary but tonight wasn’t one
He completely gave Holmes a bath and created about 5 opportunities for Schiller to break away but they just couldn’t convert any of them

Out back 5 tonight we’re about the only decent thing as they all played pretty well

I must be watching a different game. He created plenty for Schiller tonight and we couldn’t finish it off. Not bagging Schiller either because he was good tonight but Dom Young probably scores a few tries tonight of the back of Gag’s work.

Gagai created probably one of the extremely few bits of positive attacking play tonight. And also a centre can only create for his winger when he gets opportunities/good ball from the spine to create himself.

If you think we’re in a bad state of affairs now, I can’t even imagine what would happen if we dropped Gagai for Dom and Schiller. Not only would that edge get destroyed but also dropping a club legend who’s still playing well for players that haven’t proven they deserve his spot is a recipe for disaster.

Gags was good tonight. I’d say one of if not our best in second half.

Not sure if it’s already been said but I think we’re really missing Marzhew and Best (especially Marzhew) starting our sets off. Yes his errors are frustrating but he offers way more positive than negative and you really notice that when he’s not there.
Agree. Also think we’re missing a coach. Once the three of them come back I honestly think we can turn it around.

Is it possible for a team to score minus points? That’s the only way we win next weekend.

Toothless.

Absolutely toothless.
Look I’m not saying that we don’t suck. I’m just saying that Manly also suck. They looked as average against Parra as we did and we were playing against Moses and Lomax.

Just back home from the game.

What can you say, no Ponga, Sharpe in the 1, Cogger and gamble in the halves, played shockingly.

Sure puts last week's win overr Penrith reserve grade in perspective.

OB just clowning saying scheduling, we had 1 origin player, and that player has done **** all most of the season and OB thinks Ponga not playing contributed to the loss.

This is the same numpty that was commenting about Ponga might not even play and alluded to not playing him because Sharpe got the job done last week.

The guy just going through the roladex of excuses.

Yes we are short of forward grunt, but we never seem to have a plan b if/when plan an isn’t working.
This is the true definition of bone headed coaching.
Players have to take the blame for this imo. If there were true leaders in the side they’d say right, this isn’t working, let’s try this. Can’t expect a coach to dictate their every move.

Unfortunately we’re never going to get any sort of tactical adjustment like that from our numbskull players. I don’t think Cogger even has a plan A, let alone a plan B!
