ALSO! How the HECK does Joey get paid to be a coach and and commentator when he thinks Miller on the bench is the go for the Knights!?

Miller is barely first grade standard, it'll be either Mann or Nu Brown
If Ponga isn't 100% and goes down early, or even if we get a big lead and want to rest him for the second 40, it might not be that bad of an idea.

Do we reckon Ticketmaster will have parking tickets for sale or they’ve all been allocated? Parking a nightmare if you’re not living in newy and can grab a train/bus
ill we see extra rail services put on i dont think there have been any extra services i have seen all season for the games ccn line any way

I’d shift Dave Gagai to fullback with Lucas to centre if that happens to help the bench rather than catering for something that may not happen. May as well go all in, if Ponga goes down, we’re up against it anyway

If Ponga goes down I think we should still win pretty easily, tbh.

But it’s best not to rearrange the whole backline if you can avoid it.

From what Elliott said on the Matty Johns show tonight Ponga is still struggling a bit.

That doesn’t sound too good. I just voted in the poll for the Premiers too.
I get what you’re saying about upsetting things too much, but if we need to alter things just in case, maybe he shouldn’t be playing? It’s a hard one, that’s for sure

Yeah both these injuries are starting to concern me a bit.

Maybe it's almost worth giving Ponga another week off? I really don't think the Raiders will trouble us too much.

I'm a bit mentally scared from the Zeb Taia/Isaac De Gois both gone after five minutes debacle in our week one finals game in 2009 haha.

Ponga was never going to be fit to play week 1. If he plays he'll be playing while in the peak of his recovery, it's not at all ideal and only being discussed because it's a final.

I'd have him on the bench, just sat there. And if desperately needed, we could ask him to risk it.

Other than that we can rest him entirely as we'll need him to at least be able to be competitive week 2. Don't be surprised if his name doesn't appear in the 17.

Miller was not good last night. Went straight back to those nothing 4th tackle hitups that he loves and did nothing else in attack. Hunt’s try was literally all on him, there was no need for him to be defending in the line, and he didn’t even learn his lesson because he kept doing it. Lucky it didn’t happen again.

Gagai at fullback, Tuala at centre for mine if Ponga can’t go.

i think ponga will bge fine you all do realise we only get one bit of the cherry we lose we are out he had a needle didnt he
