Grandpa Joe
Danny 'Bedsy' Buderus
Who care's Rugby has expressed massive interest for him, so we are way out of the contest as no insane 3rd parties.
Over rated already. See what happens once he matures a bit more.
The guy is an absolute freak. He's gonna be a superstar no doubt about it.Over rated already. See what happens once he matures a bit more.
You guys are delusional. Sione tore it up in his first year also. I'm not saying he won't be good but I'll wait my time to put up those type statements.
And also defying other teams learning how to defend him, which usually happens to any player that looks unstoppable in their first breakout year.
This is my concern with Ross.
No doubting Ross had a good year but this was he first real season in the NRL.
He had everything to play for.
It was his last crack to make it in the NRL.
Team will now know he's dangerous ball runner and start double teaming him.
So many players have looked unstoppable in their first year but struggle to make the same impact once oppositions have done their homework.
They are now expected to perform as well.
How many NRL games has ponga played?
And with his shift onto the NRL open market imminent, Ponga has signed on with rising management company Rush Sports, whose principal Wayde Rushton described the teen as “quiet, humble ... but undoubtedly one of league’s great talents”.
While Rushton refused to speculate on where interest in Ponga may come from, both Brisbane and Gold Coast are understood to be keen on luring the teenage fullback from the Cowboys.
Further south, Newcastle, St George Illawarra and Canterbury are also likely suitors, while Melbourne and his current club North Queensland round out the seven said to be in the mix.
Mate I have coached kids footy for a lot of years now and I can tell you that there are freakish players out there in all different ages ...You don't have to be an NRL player to be freakish and most freakish NRL players were the same coming through the ranks ...Nobody is freakish until they perform well at NRL level, and not just in a debut season (although that is still pretty good!)
Any talented kid can rip it up in cup, nrl us a whole different ball park, especially fullback
