Found the updated leaderboard. How did Mullen only get 1 point on Sunday :lol:

The judges just won't let Mullen win, subconsciously or otherwise, over the likes of Inglis, coz Inglis is a much bigger story. And the Dally M is run by a newspaper.
 
Is it wrong to think Mullen is only there in case we make a miraculous run, and he will pick up the goodies. And then be claimed NSW's prodigy and answer if the halves fail in game three (god forbid). Thinking this is run by a news paper makes me believe so.

100% in agreement. Mullen could play out of his skin every week it won't matter.
 
It's disappointing that even now coming 2nd, any article you read about the dally m, he's not even mentioned. It's all about Cronk, Inglis, Thurston, and even Smith who's 4 points off the lead is being mentioned above Mullen.

We have McManus, Snowden and Mullen who are probably the form players in their respective positions and not one of them is getting any attention. It had to take McManus to score 4 tries to even get mentioned and it's like Snowden and Mullen don't even exist. It's good that they don't have that pressure on them from the outside but at the same time their awesome form deserves some damn credit.

JT come in from $21 to $9 in a week, glad I got him at $21 on origin night. Also closed the gap to 3 points. Has played like dogs balls all year. We play something like 6 of our last 9 at home. Assuming we win majority of those he will be picking the points up. Will win it or go very close imo. $21 was just too juicy not to refuse especially knowing how well he usually plays during and post origin.
 
Mullen is a good chance if he keeps it up... Inglis has the likes of Sutton & Reynolds competing with him when Souths play well, same goes for Cronk with Slater/Smith.

If the Knights play well its usually on the back of Mullen...
 
Inglis being out for the next eight weeks is excellent news for Mullen's Dally M chances!

Geez that would be so awesome! It'd be hilarious to see the shock to all the ignorant NSW fans who ignore Newcastle and are in love with every Sydney player. How upset would they be if Mullen came through and finished ahead of their precious Sutton or Reynolds or whoever.
Knights to win the premiership, Mullen to win the Dally M. Too much to ask?
 
Somehow I don't think Bunnies fans would be upset, they have 3 guys all fighting for it, and now with Inglis out, Sutton is going to get most of the points. Even if they don't win it, Inglis is going to be fully rested coming into the finals which makes them an even bigger threat for the premiership. Thinks souths would want the premiership over dally m.
 
I think souths are going to struggle. They will go alight a for a couple of weeks but I think the main reason theyll miss is his defence. The amount of try saving tackles that guy makes is outrageous and I cant see Merrit stepping up. Its gonna make all their players work harder and are at risk of burning out.
 
Oh yeah I didn't even think of the Dally M's when I read about Inglis this morning. He'd surely have to be neck and neck with Cronk, only 1 point behind since the voting went private and we've won both games since with Mullen starring. It's hard to imagine they'd let Mullen win it though since he's not as big of a name as others...
