Who will win the NRL 100m sprint challenge

If he's in it Isaac Gordon will be having drinks at the pub before the others are finished. But he'll come 2nd anyway, Bolt will win it surely.

Most of the NRL players that actually have pace aren't going to be involved from what it sounds like. This is more or less just a publicity stunt and we are lucky that Akuila is involved.

Vatuvei chased down Aku , is he participating??

Gona go with Gordon or Aku

Vatuvei only caught him because he was side on to Aku and much closer than some of the other defenders. Uate isn't that fast over 40m anyway he needs at least 60 - 70m to start really motoring.

I remember they talked briefly about this on the Footy Show & Joey said Uate will be leading most of it, Uate really does fire up quickly lets hope he wins this. One hell of a season for him this year.

I heard bolt has pulled out the whole season ? after loosing to tyson gay in that 100m race ? He's pulling out due to lower back pains? pffffffffffttttttttttt .

doesnt matter if someone is chased down. Why? three main reasons:

1. Running with ball in hand is a lot harder then without. They say the key to sprinting is all in the arms. How fast u can move ur arms controls how fast u move ur legs.

2. The ball carrier has to be aware of other things, other defenders, if he has any support, trying to position that support. The guy chasng can be focused entirely on the ball carrier.

3. The ball carrier might have dont more work in the game, or might not have the same fitness as the chaser. Also carrying the ball, making more drag will tire them quicker.

So judging on who chased down who doesnt give a correct indication, because i bet this year there has been this scenerio (just an example):

Josh Morris chased down Jennings, Gordon chased down Morris, Jennings chased down Gordon. Or something similar to that.

i. Gordon for sure. Remember when Gardner scored his try against the roosters earlier in the season, he ran the length, his legs were moving and he is a quick ****er himself, but just behind him, was Gordon jogging along in support. Crazy
