Round 23: Knights v Storm @ EAS

Loved the razzle dazzle football.

I was great to see Pato and Tovo given a go.

I'm looking forward to see how the team develops under Stone.

Great game good to see pato back, play like that espically with 2/3 games at home might be a real threat as we have proven that we can beat the top teams eg dragons, dogs and titans GOOD LUCK BOYS

Yep, best bit for me was Paterson and Sau both back to their absolute best.

I hope we can keep this renewed enthusiasm going ... we should be able to play like that every week, not just when the coach gets changed. The challenge is to keep it going.

Last 15 minutes doesn't bode too well for me ... but hopefully it was just a typical Knights drop-off. In their defence they did seem to run themselves off their feet in the first 65 minutes.

Yeh it's state.

Coz the nets are booked with like mens grade, we don't start til 7 and it's in the city so we finish around 9.30... and yeh about an hour to get home.

Missed the whole game tonight which sucks! Glad we won.

Great game!

I'm not too fussed about the points we let in at the end. Melbourne had nothing to loose and they threw some brilliant passes, and kicks that stuck. They weren't defensive lapses, just some freakish tries that we all know Melbourne are capable of.

Plus we're used to letting teams back in. Hhhmm getting out to a huge early lead, then letting the opposition back in? Sounds familiar. I hope we're coming back!

Great win by the boys we really needed that, I just hope we can back up against the Cowboys [ for the last few years we have played **** after we play the storm,

Hope Mullen, Lulia, Rogers, Hilder and Gidley are all alright

Yeh WTF happened to Lulia - was he injured? There was surely no other reason to bring WES on because we went downhill as soon as he came on

Yeah i saw him being helped off the field. Looked like an ankle problem from wat i can remember. Hopefully nothing too serious

Ankle problem for Lulia, might be in trouble for the Cowboys game.

Stone said at the press conference that he was the only injury that looked serious.

I thought Stone handled the press conference very well and even this morning on sky sports radio he was extremely professional and well spoken.

Kurt was great in the press conference, when asked to comment on B Smith he shut them down and said he was happy to discuss tonights performance and the future but did not have anything to say about the Brians departure.

The Foxsports team were very impressed with the maturity that he showed in nulifying that question.

Anyone else notice Gidley get up to go, then one reporter asked a final question, and he let out a big groan and sat down again?

He said something like; "That's it? Sweet," & then got up to leave, only to be asked another question. It was like he was getting told off in the headmaster's office at school.
