Frustrated the hell out of me today :fist: I wasnt intending to see the live scores or listen to the radio but wait for the game on tv and already a few minutes into it i got so pee'd off with the amount of Ads they kept playing and so i gave in and just checked the scores :rolleyes: and yes i know this always happens and well Knights usually dont get games on nine anyway

Seriously, Nine should AIR all games live. They'll get a bigger audience and at least they should have us chose a game or something..even though its not as pro as foxsports.

I think somewhere there was a thread about delayed games..but couldnt find it..but if found mods can merge?
 
Yeah, I was talking to AK about it on msn today actually. We get the Sunday games on Nine live over in NZ ... it must be annoying having it delayed, and even more annoying having to sit through all the ads.

Surely they could play it live, then have some sort of wrap up for an hour after that leading into the news? The NRL will have to do much better when renegotiating the tv rights next time ... all games should be shown live, pay tv or free to air.
 
Yeh it was very frustrating. It's even worse on Friday nights delayed because not even the radio have games covered (unless you can somehow find a station)

I cant resist to not look because I'l just sit there wondering. And the rate we play it's so frustrating at times you can barely watch :lol:

But yeh - 4pm I had to watch with you all today. 5pm really (daylight savings) so it felt like forever. The 2min ad breaks can f*ck off too. :p
 
When we get a delayed Knights game in NZ (most of the time we don't get both the 7:30 Saturday games live) I never check out the scores or listen to it on the radio ... can't enjoy a Knights game as much if I already know the result. Especially if we lose haha.

But luckily this year I've been able to see every game live, so far! :D
 
I don't know why we dont have 3pm Live games...

We have WWE then Super League... then sunday footy.

It should be WWE then Live footy then superleague.
 
Well it's weird how you have the Superleague so delayed, as well. The results are old news by the time you get to see those games.

FOX Sports. Channel Nine's coverage would interfere with Fox's live 2pm game. Only way of changing it is 4pm live game on channel nine.

I would also get rid of Monday Night footy and put a 6pm game live on Fox.

Money makes the world go round.
 
Considering we hadn't won a 3pm home game since 2005. I had my doubts... it was nice knowing I could sit there and watch knowing we won.
 
Watching games when knowing the result, good or bad, is horrible. Surely you guys can resist for an hour or two until the game is shown. I've waited days, even weeks, to watch league from the UK & NBA basketball before. It would be harder with something closer to home but a couple of hours should be sweet.

NZ probably has the best league coverage on TV (that's if you've got Sky). With live coverage of most NRL games & a couple of SL games a week, & no ads. Plus Maori TV show some domestic games (if they're having any this year).

China has the worst league coverage in the world, & they've blocked Youtube now as well so no clips through there.
 
The NRL should start Sunday Games at 2pm and 3:45, then if extra time is required it will not impeed on the 6pm. Also if the game finishes according to schedule it give the chance for them to have a qick wrap up of the weekend before 6.
 
The whole reason its at 3pm is because it was 4pm it would be more twlight rather then that afternoon feel. Im talking about the whole mid winter areas where it gets cold.

Weeks?! Stuff that haha. Round 1, 2006, I didn't have Sky installed in my flat in Dunedin in time to watch round one, so I waited 24 hours then watched it in Bigpond ... that was bad enough!

If that is the case they should televise it on a half hor delay instead of a full hour the game is over before you have finished watching the first half.
 
More Sunday games, I mean their good to have but gees all the other clubs are gonna be hating us, spare some to the Eels, Storm, Panthers for peak sakes.
