I wouldn't be prepared to give paterson another go if i was naming this weeks team, only if we get desperate for the rest of the year. I know he isn't well at the moment but since his comeback to first grade it is obvious there are still some issues there, to the point where he is more of a liability than anything. I sympathise with his situation but at the moment he is doing more harm than good. Im happy for him to play local league for the rest of the year until he has his head in the right place to deal with first grade. He is still missing that hunger which made him play well last year. Also if wes is our best option then there are serious problems, he is useless. This isn't the time of year to be experimenting with the line-up. i.e kurt at halfback, shannon mcdonnel on the wing, they both failed, pick players in their prefered positions and if that means leaving shannon out of the team then so be it.
