Defo between Hunt and Sione and by the sounds of it young Fermor could push for a start. The beauty of having depth for once as there’ll always be one knuckle head. Plus the extra cash can help with some key retentions this year. Just sign Ponga up for another 3-4!!!
 
Development players can't play firsts until after 30 June.

Brown said Sione is now 4th or 5th choice centre so I live in hope.
 
If he gets sacked we would have 350k on top of the 400k we have already tp buy a quality center if available.
 
We have a lot of depth at centre.
Jesse Ramien, Hunt, Ross, SKD and Sione and maybe Lee look like the ones ready to play firstgrade.
But we have Musgrove, Andrews and maybe Heath Gibbs (don't know if he's training with reserves) who are all quality and 20 years old.
We also have 18 year old Star Toa and 17 year old Bradman Best training with firstgrade.
We didn't mind cutting Cory Denniss because we have 5 more aged between 17 and 20 just like him, so it might be a problem in 2019 if we get 3 or more injuries, but from 2020 we'll probably be cutting perfectly good centres because of oversupply. And I haven't even mentioned utilities like Beau Fermor and Tex Hoy who both had good games at centre last year.
 
I think Hunt will probably get the nod at centre if Moga is sacked .
I haven't seen Star Toa play but from all reports the kid is a freak ..So he may get the nod .
Personally I would rather not have Sione or Ross at centre , Ross was crap at centre imo and although Sione started to come good at the end of last season I think he would rather play backrow but centre may be a way for him to be in the starting side because he wont be there in the b/row I don't think .
SKD has played a lot of centre over the years and goes well there but that makes us weaker on the wing under the high ball and making meters out of our own half and although I like big centre's I think were better of leaving him on the wing .
 
Heard the eels could play him in reserves in hope he asks for a release and forfeits any (some) money he may earn over the next two years
I'm sure some teams wouldn't mind signing him on a cheap deal
 
Toa has had a massive year, but I think he needs a bit of a rest after not having any time off for a year at age 17/18.
I think he is still at school too.
Half a season of under 20s and maybe look at him again towards the end of the season I reckon.
The tour of England with the schoolboys means he has had no off season.

He's not stupid enough to do that

Why would you ask for a release from a deal when it's worth 800K plus when your next deal is likely 250K ??

Jennings will happily play reggies unless something pops up for him to move clubs without losing any cash
