Votano had a few unhappy moments but seemed to be warming into the game and the try was a great effort.
McEwen and Hopwood both had a couple of good plays but quiet overall.

Think the NSW spine has been pretty poor, Elliott in particular.

Hopwood quiet? Are we watching the same game. The bloke hasn't stopped.
 
I’ve watched Hopwood almost single-handedly destroy teams through the middle with his footwork and ball-playing ability. It’s cool that he played the whole first half, but yes, compared to his usual standard I think he’s been quiet. Quiet doesn’t mean bad.

Team full of blokes you don't usually play with aswell. His definitely done his job, all you can ask of him.

Yes - he's always cool and calm - even under a lot of pressure.
 
Votano heard the ref calling the Qld players out and didn't try to catch, forcing the ref to give a penalty
 
I love Votano calling for that kick, on the short side, with absolutely nothing on haha. Awful kick somehow still works out - that's the way it goes for the special players
