under 19s origin Thursday from 5.45 for women's and 7.45 for men's

I thought Cody was great, extremely high work rate and ran in hard when got the chance.

Crazy that some people after his second ever NSW cup game thought all the hype was false and he might only be a solid first grader.

Hopwood has the potential to have an Kangaroos jersey at some stage in his future.

The usual suspects on here were declaring Bradman Best a dud after his first game as an 18 year old.
But Cody does need to get some more strength to compete as a prop at NRL level - he has everything else already.

Completely agree.

It’s actually a blessing that we finally have a prop that has everything and just needs to bulk up which can easily happen in a gym, once he does that he will be dynamite I’m sure of it.

I actually prefer that approach, you can bulk up whenever you want but all the other stuff takes years to train, so do that first than bulk up at the end.

I actually liked the look of Coby Black. Reminded me a bit of Munster for some reason with his “personality”. Seemed pretty happy to get stuck in and do some hard work. Wonder how close he is to Brisbane’s plans.

Thought Woods was okay, but kind of knows he’s got raps on him and wanted to prove it. Nothing wrong with confidence and these are still young kids so I’m pretty wary of being too critical from my lounge. Just gave me a bit of a bad vibe like Galvin. Could be very talented - but all the praise could certainly turn confidence into arrogance.*

*I don’t know him. I haven’t watched him much other than some highlights and this game. Not a personal attack. Just commentary of the fine line some of these young players walk.

Like the big 13 Uta for NSW that was flying in putting shoulders on everyone. It’s a bit cutthroat - some clubs would be putting a line through him after that ill discipline and some would be circling him for the potential. Spencer Leniu type polarising.
Halangahu looked like he’s going to be a handful as well as he matures.
