Tyson Gamble discussion

This article says Gamble has been given permission to exit the club at the end of the season.

I hope he has a quick recovery from his facial fractures and I hope everything else works out well for him.

I would like Gamble to stay, he represents how Knights should play the game with heart. He was not the best half in the comp but he always had a go and with this last injury I hope the Knights look after him. With one more season on his contract I hope his recovery is quick and he comes back just as strong.

I’m happy for him to go. I like him as per what you’ve said but I want to win games more than keep guys I like.
Moving him on to replace with someone we actually need is the right thing.

The injuries he's getting now are very concerning in terms of: Is his body actually up to NRL standard contact? I'm not doubting his toughness to play through this stuff but being susceptible to severe back injuries and facial fractures has me thinking he'd be better off going to England and getting tackled by wet noodles.

If he wants to make good money yes I agree. His injuries are adding up and NRL is not for everyone, after the year he has had it will be a long fight back. I think his attitude is good for the club and a job around league at the Knights would be good for both parties.

I'd love to see how he goes in the number 6 jersey beside brown. I reckon he would be surprisingly good. I mean this whole fletcher sharpe is just trial and error at the minute and his doing his job, Fletch is fit so Ty's must bide his time. If he gets a shot this year I hope dylbro is the other half.

I like Tyson as a back up half. If he was going to be a good FG half it would have happened in his career by now. He’s been a fringe FG his whole career. Sandon is the first backup then Tyson if Sharpe or DB aren’t available.

Playing really well in Cup since he came back. Could definitely do a job in FG if required.

Anyone else miss this guy? I don’t miss losing but I miss watching him try as hard as he did.
Yeah, though with a full healthy 17 he's not really close to being in the first grade side. If we hadn't signed Sandon I would say you can try keep him on similar dollars.
But considering he's allowed to shop around and there isn't much interest is there room for him? Can't say there is, It would pretty much have to be a paycut considering he would be playing in reserves. Deserves a better opportunity elsewhere.

I'd be letting him go. Loved his effort levels, never bludged, but we have better and younger players. Crazily halves look pretty well stocked if the jrs come on like we hope.

I’m pretty sure he was told there isn’t room for him. I wonder if he will go to super league? Bears could do worse than signing him

Like him, always making the effort, like said on here he is a backup player, fringe first grader and would be handy for Bears and ok in ESL
