Aku(?) just did a "Kurt" in soo and steps out of bounds with the ball in their in goal.

If it was him then he just made up for it with a try off the scrum and conversion by ssccccotty!
 
They've scored again one on one jump with aku. Spilled out to another stormy who scored. They missed the conversion so the final score is 66-10
 
Oooo it seems abraham was out on the field that last quarter.. Didn't even notice.. Oops
 
Thanks Jekk! To be honest though we should have a right to smash them like that, although they won the NYC last year we should have demolished them and did. However I'm glad we've got penrith next week.

Both were good Dureau was pretty impressive in defence, Naiqama played Fullback and did pretty well ran with some purpose I missed the 3rd quarter but saw the rest Ndaira and Tuimavave were both very good and Aku looked dangerous in attack especially from the scrumbase.
 
how well did mullen play at 5-8 and durearu at half tumivave played well as well looks like a quality forward

The Newcastle Knights defeated the Melbourne Storm 66 - 10 at St John Oval, Charlestown tonight to win the inagural Kurt Fearnley Cup.
The Storm team, made up of fringe first graders and NYC players put up a strong fight but were unable to match the strength of the home side.
Central Charlestown junior, Dan Tolar registered the game's first points in the opening minute on his former home ground to launch a long awaited comeback from injury.
The Knights performed well across the park and now turn their attention to next week's full-strength trial against the Panthers in Port Macquarie.
The only injury concern was Con Mika who suffered a rib cartliage injury.
Junior Sau left the field in the second quarter with a mild knee strain and Cooper Vuna has a minor corked calf but neither are cause for concern for Knights medical staff.
In the curtain raiser, the Central Coast Centurions defeated The Entrance Tigers 32 - 4.
Meanwhile, mixed results for the Newcastle Knights junior representative teams in Sydney today with the Novocastrians victorious over the Roosters by 30 points to 24.

In SG Ball, the Knights led 24-20 five minutes from full time before a late converted try to the Roosters to snatch a 26-24 victory.

Although minor, more injuries we cannot afford these

I just read through all 4 pages, and much-ly appreciated indeed!

We did well in smashing them, and that was expected against a team like that. If we can beat Penrith next week, esp. after their performance against a near full strength Eels, id be really certain about our chances going into round 1.

We should also be getting Cross, Paterson n co back next week.
 
to be fair, it was nowhere near out strongest side either, coulda put 80 on em if it was.

Missing: Cross, Gidley, DeGois, Rogers, Taia, Simpson, Hilder, Patterson, McManus, McDougall, Ciraldo, McDonnell, Fa'aso.

That is 13 regular FGers, mostly starters.

So looking at the players who did play, many of them would be in their early in there early 20's, not far off being U/20's.

We definitely dropped off in that second half when they brought the younger guys in.
