I actually don't disagree, happened every special event like Mothers day and every school holidays last year.

I called it the Gladys special.

If you’re looking at events like Mother’s Day and school holidays, it would actually be impossible to find a spot where there isn’t a special event … especially since Omicron emerged in November, so you’re giving yourself a two month lead up to any event.

Talking about last 18 months brother.
 
Well I'm now in iso for 14 days due to being positive. I was only at a sit down venue for 4 hours and I bloody got it. It's spreading like wildfire!! If the NRL don't want as many mishaps they will introduce another bubble. It's too risky to not do it.

Take care and look after yourself mate. Hoping your double jabbed and it's mild.

At least you get some free antibodies if it is just a mild thing I guess.

Yeah mate jabbed up and hoping it stays like it is now. Sore throat and the ol snoz running. Can still smell and taste which is a bonus! Thanks mate appreciate it.

Coach says it's not a big set back because we have banked a good period of training.
Also says that only Sue and Johns not available and having the whole spine fit for a long period was a real luxury that we haven't had for the past 2 pre seasons.

Take care Dan and hope it stays in the mild range for you and you still get the chance to enjoy some of the festive season mate 🤞....things are just going crazy in Newie at present - we are the Omicron flash point for Australia at present and I think it is only going to get worse over the festive season.

Re the team finishing early, I've heard whispers that it may be a bigger issue and that the early close down might be masking bigger numbers than just Chris Vea'ila testing positive 🤧🤫

The article says a staff member at Knights headquarters tested positive, so virtually everyone who had been there is at least a casual contact, which sounds like they had no choice at all.

Those whispers are pretty loud. There were 2 high profile players at the same venue I was at so it's highly probable. Better to finish it up early and get people away from the socials.
