I’m excited by the potential of a Gamble/Sharpe halves combination. Gamble will have to prove he can take charge of the team on the field. Patience will need to be shown will both Gamble and Sharpe as half and 5/8. We need another point of attack and Sharpe has the ability to provide that.

Because of this halves combination, I’m now looking forward to the start of the season. Before this I wasn’t.

I'm not sure why we're giving so much credence to the journo who's the most notorious of the lot for almost always being dead wrong. I would honestly go as far as to say that Gamble & Sharpe is our least likely round 1 halves combo now.

It’s the most left field halves combination that has been suggested for us. MSM usually parrots the same old same old halves combinations for us, the Mole may have some inside information this time.

Even if true would have thought Sharpe at 7 and Gamble at 6 was more likely, better with only one adjusting to new position.
Still think it will be Cogger 7 and Gamble 6.

According to the socials Dylan Brown is being shopped around to all 17 NRL clubs, we had $600k available for Pezet, surely we can find an extra $200k for a competitive offer for Dylan.

With Ponga, being our main man in attack and I think will be regardless of the half short of a DCE, then I think a half with a good running game and strong boot would compliment our team well.

Especially if the straightner can continue to co'ordinate things.

Whilst he’s probably better than we have. He’s not what we need. Save the $$ for a game managing 7.
Knights need 2 good halves. The likes of what 5/8's are at the club ( at least in this stage of development ) isn't going to cut it. They are all barely FG level.

What team to any of our 6's or 7's walk into. Not many if any.

Yes please to Brown. Only 24 yrs old and has a future.

He’ll want more than 800 a year and he’s not worth it. One of the most overrated players in the game imo.
And coming off an ACL, just read he is not guaranteed to play this year .Supposedly on 900k now
Pass from me!!
