haha he didn't pick up on it because i edited it later. I'm sneaky.

So lulia is off, but Tahu is here. So maybe a depth center (seeing as Liki isn't performing as of yet) and an impact FRF. We have a championship winning team (if they gel).

If you play Houston in the middle who does that leave as options for wide running back rowers?

Zeb (with robo-neck).
Costigan.
???
You just answered your own question

11. Costigan
12. Taia
13. Houston

Then you potentially have someone like O'Donnell, or Cook to have a breakout season. Or an import like McKinnon/Cuthbertson who will be close to getting bench spots.

It was more along the lines of questioning the depth.
What happens if Taia's robo-neck is no good and Costigan breaks his arm again? From the little I've seen of KOD he is miles away from first grade.

If those injuries occur, then you would move Houston back into the second row. I was assuming we will be at full strength though, rather then throwing in hypotheticals that might not even happen. I know KOD has been in horrible form this year, but who's to say he doesn't rip in next year? He's got the tools to become a first grader, so too Cook.

OK so you've got

11. Houston.
12. ???
13. Edwards/Hilder

The point is we're not exactly flush with second row options are we? The fact that everybodies favourite Knight (Ciraldo) keeps getting a guernsey is proof of that and even he won't be here next year.

Bluey Southern

I wouldn't mind seeing Southern here next year, but i think this year is going to be his last year.
I tend to agree - Bluey has a lot of detractors, but he is one of the few forwards playing with enthusiasm and spirit. He is always giving it 100%. I don't think he is technically brilliant, but I like the fact he goes in, goes forward and, well, just has a go! Some of our higher priced forwards can't even seem to do that. Hope Bennett can find him a spot.
:Knights:

Obviously effort has nothing to do with earning a new contract, coz he's one of our few players that can say they've given 100% every game, this season.

Yes, but that issue shouldn't be a problem next year with guys like Tetevabo, O'Donnell, Cook, Tahu and possibly Cuthbertson and McKinnon coming to the club.

I would be very happy to have Sourthen here next year. He has played great this year for us when he has been given the chance to play
