Stadium upgrades?

if ur talking bout the storm blackouts i had them too, but i think KN7 was talking bout a blackout as in there will be no more election ads on TV to persuade voters so they have a clear mind when they vote lol
 
While i was reading that post, i had one of the half blackouts. So it was pretty freaky. :p
 
The key thing for me is Howard being so old, he won't see out his term.

I would like to see our next government distance itself from the usa, which i don't know if Rudd will do when he has the us trying to bully him, but hopefully he won't be so sucky sucky with bush.

Rudd has promised world class broadband, but we'll see if that comes true.

The storms annoying, but luckly no blackouts here.

he's going to retire anyway. And i hate Costello. Another reason to vote labor IMO.
 
didnt the knights only just have the stadium upgraded a couple of years ago.

It'd be good to see it get upgraded again:D



Its sad how Johnny howard got voted out..:( i will sure miss him though.

Seems like a lot of people went for Kevin Rudd or as my dad puts it, Kevin Mudd..:D
 
The Eastern Stand (aka Andrew Johns Stand) was rebuilt in 2004/5, but the Western Stand is in pretty dire need of rebuilding - as well as new changing rooms, etc.

The plan is to put up new stands at the end as well, so that the ground is like a mini-Suncorp Stadium, but I'm not sure if there is the money to do that as well.

Na just saying, i havnt been there, by the looks of it on TV, its pretty good. But a full make over would be good for the people that turn up.

I doubt they will do a 30mil upgrade...Prbly more like 5-10
 
Did the labor member for that electroate win?? Who ever promised it on behalf of Rudd. If Labor didnt win that electrate then theres no point
