Stadium upgrades?

depending on how melbourne respond to this and if they keep producing large enough crowds they might even bring in a melbourne game every year (especicially when they get that purpose built football stadium), but i rekon they shouldnt do that cause it is NSW V QLD.

I dont rekon it should even be every 3 yrs, keep it at something like every 5 yrs so it doesnt loose its novelty for them.
 
I reckon Game Three of State Of Origin should be played in Melbourne every year.

NSW: Telstra Stadium Game 1
QLD: Suncorp Game 2

With Game 3 in Melbourne- although many go for QLD!
 
thats unfair to NSW and QLD fans having the decider in Melbourne, i rekon when its played in melbourne is should always be game 2
 
I think a game every three years (if they keep doing it) is just about right. Can't decide which match it should be though ... maybe the opener?

Erm, that's how it's been since 1981 and it's worked fine! The decider (if it goes to a match three) is one of the biggest matches of the year (that and the grand final are the top two) so it should be in Queensland or NSW!
 
yeh and its no adavantage to either team anyway, cause they both get one home game each. It is more of an advantage to have the home opener i rekon, cause if u win that u know u only have to win 1 more game.
 
That's true, it's very rare indeed that a side comes back from losing the first match to win the series.

Yea fair point, it is better held in NSW or QLD, but i still would like to see a nuetral venue. Im not saying i dont like how it is now, its awesome, every three years in MELB is also pretty good.
