Fantasy points even though they are for a game, do show a pretty decent reflection of a player's efforts. All it is at the end of the day is points given for statistics. The salary cap has sort of taken a back seat the last couple years because of bigger issues, but I think if we're ever going to try & have a more fair salary cap, it will have to be based off points allocated out, maybe not for statistics, but maybe a player's standing in the game (games played, tier 1 tests, origins, tier 2 tests etc.)Fantasy points per game average

Add strike outside him (Best to right centre, Gagai playing left) to take some of the heat off and give us genuine attack both sides.![]()
Season Review: Tyson Frizell
Tyson Frizell added another exciting dimension to the nib Newcastle Knights line-up in 2021.www.newcastleknights.com.au
Tyson Frizell
He had a great year, but he didn't make as much difference to the team as I thought he would.
I think we could use him better, but not sure how.
Yep I agree. Best just needs to work in his defence and having to do it every attacking set from opposing teams will set him up to win or fail and we will know if his up to it. Frizz needs to start creating space for outside men rather then going infield poking and prodding.Add strike outside him (Best to right centre, Gagai playing left) to take some of the heat off and give us genuine attack both sides.
One thing he's good at which I haven't really seen mentioned, he hits the line, spins immediately & throws it out the back. Probably once or twice it's lead to an error, but I've seen him do it well many more times. It's a simple but effective play that keeps the ball in play, especially dangerous when you've got Ponga hanging around out the back.Even fitz at his best would be great. Everyone knows his attack is the shortball from ponga, but I to sleep and he is in easy
Yeah why can't we play gags over on the right. He is a right arm carrier but swaps aswell so would be more effective there. Just hoping he can keep up the defensive efforts I've seen recently. If it's anything like last time he was here I won't watch anytime it goes down his side. Best is a lefty and I hadn't noticed until you said haha. Can someone please explain the logic behind the idea of moving Bradman Best to right centre? I’m pretty sure he’s a left hand carry/right hand fend guy, and he’s got big defensive issues & in general the right is where you need your better defender, so I don’t know why there’s the assumption it’d help the team…
I'd assume the logic is that Best was a below-average NRL centre last year. And Gagai was pretty good. My thoughts on Braddy to the right start with Gagai. He was a natural right sided player when he was here last, left arm fend right foot step. But when he took the ball up in half, usually getting the ball on the left side of the ruck, his strengths would carry him across the defensive line instead of crashing in to it. QLD, then Souths, flipped that on its head. Playing on the left, his natural strengths on yardage plays now see him power in to the line. They actually rely on him for quick play the balls. Then in the attacking zone, he hits the right lines and his speed is his best asset there anyway. He is going so well there, so I want Gags playing on the left.
