Reffing hasn't been too bad for mine, just the touchy missing the dogs player going into touch was really poor, you could tell on TV he'd gone out and it wasnt even from a good camera angle

Credit where it's due.
You can clearly see the difference in effort in practically every area. Defence is all about effort, they are scrambling well.
We are getting good kick pressure on, chasing down our kicks etc.
You dont see a difference in effort between this and the latte weeks as you refer to them effort wise?

If our effort in D was so poor vs the other 3 teams, weed be minus 150 on for and against.
Canberra should of won by 30pts easy... but only by 7pts
Dragons demolished us in the middle and won by 1pt
Panthers was just a crap game where each team tried but neither wanted to nail the other team on the score board.

The way I saw those games we were lucky our opponents were not on their attacking games or we would have been thumped a couple of times.
A few teams in the latte stretch got over our line 3-4 times a game and bombed the tries themselves.

The hunger and the enthusiasm was great, a little white line fever towards the end of the half which hopefully brown addresses at half time but the defence has been the most important, could've been 12-12 or 16-12 , I winced a couple of times when a Bulldogs player found some space or surged at the line because I'm so used to seeing it lead to points.
Ref was terrible that first 10 or so minutes.I think this is one of our best games so far in regards to intent and our defence . Execution has let us down we could have scored a few more tries. If we sort out our execution and play with the same intent we can really run away with this game.
