Must win game. Dogs have been struggling especially in attack. Our defense is much improved.

Have to maintain the intensity for this match. If we do that we should take the points.

Ramien back should help in D on his edge.

One question will be how the team handles the distraction of the magic round with the whole NRL there at the same time. A big job for Brown to keep them focussed and ready to perform.

Glad this isn't a dogs home game or Klemmer would need a police guard to get into the place if the Kennel was anything to go by.

You would assume us by plenty, but winning isn't a habit for us yet so lets hope we keep on moving in the right direction.

Bulldog would have massive distractions with 4 board members being sacked this week.
It could make them come out firing, or could do the opposite.
Meaney and Cogger have been looking good.
But I think we will win 13+.

This is a danger game we “ are supposed to win “ - beware the wounded Bulldog still has teeth.

Can we maintain the same sustained energy for a third week in a row ?

I hope so , this is a must win for our points standing

If we play with the same intesity we should win comfortably and beat the dragons the week after. The game against the roosters is going to be the litmus test to see if were a real threat at all. Origin time could be interesting with out klem, ponga and possibly pearce if he continues with the form he is in.

Yeah I agree, ours to lose. And looks like the dragons are going to do their usual form slump

I cant see Pearce getting selected for origin again tbh. Seems nsw is moving towards bringing younger halves through now and sticking with them.

    Maloney probably out also.

2 weeks on the road, is a tough ask, oversea's than interstate.

Would the boys fly straight up to Brisbane from NZ?

It feels like Pearce is making a stand for selection recall, if he plays like he has for the rest of this month I think he might be considered. On form for NSW halves I go Pearce and Kleary(from Roosters).
NSW fans might say keep Pearce away but its not like it be Pearce vs Cronk,Thurston,Lockyer in the past.

Meaney will have a big game against us.
He always lifts for big occasions.
The best games of his life were when he played under 20s and residents for NSW and his early games in firstgrade, and I'm pretty sure he'll want to make a statement against us.

Pearce is done at Origin level. Apart from the incumbents Adam Reynolds, Cody Walker and Luke Keary are all killing it.

Can’t see Pearce being picked for SOO unless a few injuries happen to those in front of him but that’s bad for him but good for us. Klemmer will be picked but in this case we have plenty of back up and JSaf should be ready to go by then. Ponga will likely be picked, at least in 17 but dont have a standout replacement if he can’t back up, probably Mann.

Klemmer and Ponga would be arguably the first 2 picked, aside from that we'll have no one.

Fitz has fallen WAY off the pace this year.

Jamie Buhrer topped every stat in reserve grade.
    Top fantasy points with 50.
Top number of runs with 17.
    top metres run with 127
1 metre behind Beau Fermor for post contact metres with 37
Topped the tackle count with 42 - 15 more than next best Sam Stone.
80 minutes at lock against a strong warriors pack as well.

Definitely a danger game for us. 2 wins in a row, complacency possible against the Dogs & the distraction of magic round. If we come out & smack them like we're supposed to, then confidence for the season should be hitting a turning point.

That's a lot of travel and a 6 day turn around.
Probably all recovery sessions and not much training.
Hope players and coaches aren't complacent.

It's a tough task for mine hope we can get it done. Dragons will murder us week after though.

    They were rubbish against Parra.
We get them at a good time.
    We should beat them.
No Norman or Whiddop & possibly Frizzel.

The Rooster the week after will be a big task.
