I thought the same, if he was offside he had no right to make a tackle.

I didnt think he was offside at all.

Yeah I'm confused on that one aswell, if you're offside you dont really factor into stopping the try, if he makes the tackle it's as though he was offside twice in the same play and technically it's a professional foul as an offside player prevented a try, except, they wouldn't have even sent it upstairs to see the offside if they hadn't of scored.
