Round 9: Knights v Raiders @ Canberra Stadium

Clydsdale trained with firstgrade the whole off season, and with Buderus not doing much contact work it was down to him, Redman and Adams to play most of the drills, and from the photos we saw, Clydsdale did a lot of work with the team.

Gee Costigan & Hilder must really be on the outer now. And Sims is hopefully getting games to get the new contract.

It sucks Mullen is out but I just have a feeling the whole team is going to lift and since it's Gidley's 200th and we're underdogs, it has a certain vibe I like lol I expect Gids to have a blinder :D
 
Im going to get blasted for this but surely someone agrees, I don't get all the Costigan hate on here like sure he hasn't brung his 2010 for here but neither has Snowden and yet everyone rarely has a bad word to stay about him. Costigan is just as good as he has been and that hasn't been that bad. He goes alright, hard runner and a good defender. He isn't very good at hooker I'll agree but even at hooker he has shown 1 or 2 glimpses. Hope it's not the last we've seen of him in first grade. I agree we probably shouldn't re-sign him at the end of the year but at least let him play it out here. Same with Hilder I think he deserves a spot in the team ahead of trav. Hilder regularly tops the tackle count and is an ok hooker enough to get by until Bedsy gets back.

Costigan has not played one good game since round 1, he has made countless crucial errors. Snowden has probably had 3 outstanding games now, and 2 poor games. The thought of resigning nev is ludicrous....
 
The Raiders usually after a good win fall a part the week after, hopefully it's another case of that tomorrow.
