Didn't answer my question. He ran the ball three times and kicked three times. One of the kicks went dead in goal.

But he was great.
 
I thought hodko was ok today as well.
I thought Stocky was good to besides that dropped ball on half time.

I hate the commentary talking about players as its usually a load of dribble from a script to have something to say when they dont have something to talk about.
 
All the boys had a decent game.
The opposition was a top 4 side who played like a top 4 side.
some of our guys were outmuscled, but by rep standard players, not by mugs.
 
I thought our effort was pretty good today, but, we still need to be alot better than that to be a "good" team. Too many simple errors. Souths line speed and go forward was better than ours today and they deserved their win.

Well u mite think its simple to beat the rushing defense on the 5th as u plan a grubber to step then fend the fullback to score our first points....

Ohh and our second try for pete... 5th tackle rushing D from inside to stop that step and hodko had the smarts and quick hands to bullet a ball to Sione under huge pressure for Sione to take 3 steps pass to pete and we scored in the corner..... sione got the assist but it was hodko whom made it happen.
 
Really enjoying being at the games this year. We can walk out knowing we were in the game at least, not getting thumped.

This year you can get in to the game, yell at the referee, get the Newcastle chant going etc.

The boys are definitely trying every game, and not laying down. Todays game we could easily have won if we kicked on in the second half. But we came out and squandered our possession and chances. You just can't give quality sides (or any) free shots at you from the 50, repeatedly. You can't afford to blow tries and opportunities and expect to win.

Otherwise I thought the boys stood up to the Souths pack, and did well to come back at the end and still be in it.

What did the penalty count end up, as it seemed in the second half we couldn't buy one!

Need to watch the replay, but standouts for mine was Lamb, Barnett and Levi. Did Levi play the 80 as I don't recall him going off?
 
Think levi played 60+ but had a 10min rest.

I though he was great today though, had us going forward and some great runs him self then strong in D. I gave him a point in motm.

People seem to forget how bad we were last year loving people laying in the boot when we are 10 times better this year.

FML people expect us to be allstars overnight.

I am ecstatic and never been prouder to be a knights supporter after today. GFs included
 
Was frustrating today with some of the silly errors we made but cant fault the attitude and the desire to compete this year so far . If we keep up the effort and desire to win that we have shown so far i cant see us getting the spoon. Depth is a concern if we have injuries although tupou looked solid in nsw cup, tom hughes looked ok and meany had some classy touches not sure whats going on with randall he looked nearly up to nrl standard last year where he barley looks nsw cup standard the games i have seen him play this year.
 
I'd like to know what Barnett said to George to make him go mental.
I know Barnett got under the skin of Gallen last year.
He must have a good niggle in him.
