I know what your saying. I think the 7 from 8 in the middle of the season bought Nathan a lot of Browny points from my point of view. It buys him time to fix the right side defence and his use of the bench because a lot of what he was doing was working. Unfortunately since then, teams have started picking over those weaknesses, quite ruthlessly at times, and the negatives began to outweigh the positives.Owey, I agree with most of what you have covered, although Brownies weird selections and his unorthodox use of the bench got my attention much earlier than "the last month or so".
There is always a reason for losing streaks no matter what team or sport you follow, the trick as a coach is to be astute enough to identify what the cause is and either eliminate it or isolate it, then Re consolidate the group and refocus.
It will be interesting to see what Wolfie does differently this week and whether it actually has a positive effect on the team's efforts.
