depends on how Brisbane, Sharks and Panthers go.
We need atleast the Panthers to lose one more and one of the other 2 to lose 2.
I think.

Don’t mess with a winning team , it looks OK, best team effort by far, tweak the little things,
If changes required due to injury move one specialist from Reserves into that specific position without affecting the rest of the rotation.

broncos - souths, eels , dogs
penrith - cows , roosters, knights
sharks - dragons , warriors, raiders , tigers.

I'm more worried about winning this one than other teams having to lose etc.

Tigers down at Campbelltown, same points as us, looking to get themselves in to the 8 playing at home is going to be a tough outing. I can't see them rolling over like Cows did.

It will take a concerted effort to get the points down there, 80 minute effort required, and I don't think I saw enough from that Cows game to have any confidence we will get the job done.

Pearce, Ponga and Lino got some very valuable confidence!!
I think we will hammer a depleted tigers next week.

Lino has come better than I thought he could, goal kicking was great in windy conditions, opposition might have been poor but I think our boys will get a lot out of it. Sione playing centre was a good move or more precise moving Mann to bench was good. Watson injury a worry and Mann played ok at dummy half but not happy he is in team. Hunt played very well, strong runs, in Mann’s spot.

Would be nice if Dragons got over the Sharks today. That would help us a lot. However, the Dragons are looking terrible already this afternoon

Imo Siones 2 best games this year hss been when he has played centre.
round 16,
1 try,
132m, 45pcm,
1 tb, 1lb,
15 tackles, 1mis

round 22,
1 try,
194m, 54pcm,
5tb, 1lb,
12tk, 1mis,
Him and Barnett work very well togeather in Defence.

Is centre now his best possition?
Has defending in the middle somehow helped his edge defence?

Has defending in the middle somehow helped his edge defence?
There was never anything wrong with his edge defence.
He had 4 or 5 games last year after he came back from a very long layoff where his judgement was pretty bad - not nearly as bad as Moga was coming back from a long layoff, but bad - and people have made up a myth about him that they'll never let go. It's the "give a dog a bad name" principle.
