I don't know, getting paid a handsome pay packet by an organisation that doesn't care about results despite not having a high level of coaching know-how is pretty clever if you ask me

Doesn't matter who's in the side, Cogger, Turuva, Leota, Tago are all guys who were reserve graders 2-3 seasons ago and now look established in FG (granted Cogger is a backup half, but he looks 3x the player he was at Newcastle and Canterbury purely due to the role he's been given in a strong team).

Meanwhile we have guys like Leo Thompson, Phoenix Crossland and Kurt Mann who wouldn't crack the 17 at any of the other 16 clubs in the comp

Turuva and Tago are really talented young players, not reserve grade bums, and Leota has been playing consistent first grade since 2017/18 and almost won the Clive Churchill Medal last year. But yeah guys like Cogger, Salmon, Hosking etc looking good is a credit to their system.
