By the end of the season I expect Crossland to replace Lino at number 6.
Comparing their reserve grade stats,
Lino is well ahead in try assists with 6 from 7 games while Crossland has 2 from 13 games.
Crossland is well ahead in tries scored with 6 to 0 from Lino.
Defence - both are pretty poor with Lino at 85% tackle efficiency and Crossland 79% - but Crossland is improving quickly, with 8 missed tackles in his first game of the season and only 1 in his most recent game.
Kicking wise, they are sharing the kicking pretty evenly with about 200 metres a game average each.
Physically, Crossland is taller, heavier, faster, has a better pass and a much longer kick.
The biggest difference - Crossland is 6 years younger.

So - Lino has much better try assists and slightly better defence, but Crossland seems to have him covered everywhere else.

One will stay for 100k the other will want double.

I thought you meant Lino would stick around for 100k and Crossland would want 200k.
I don't think Lino would get too many offers - but every club would make a bid for Crossland.

Crossland has much to learn still and with a smart head on him would be wise to stay under Pearce and build himself into the nrl team by mid 2020 onwards.
Lino on the other hand hasnt got much left to build on, would be great in ESL footy.
 
Ahh well 88 the old 'locals' spokesman to the fore again.

Who knows Crossland could be another Brock Lamb and be hotly pursued by the Rooters !
 
Fitz out for 5 weeks.
Brodie Jones had one of his best games on the weekend.
With Barnett and Fitz out, Guerra not match fit and Sione seemingly needed in the centres, as well as Fermor injured and Stone gone, maybe Brodie is our last resort.

Looks like Buhrer will be in the back row again. I thought he was pretty good. I didn't understand all the criticism.

Looked bad when it happened but thought when he played on it was ok, big effort to finish the game.
Suddenly those overstocked back rowers not so overstocked.

If his 90% plus fit?? I'd be playing him.
If we win this game by 30pts which is very possible we could go to 4th place heading into a very tough game vs the Roosters.
The raiders have the Dragons in the Gong so a pretty tough game.
Manly play Souths also a very tough game.
