I'll join the chorus's of f--k origin and repeat my unpopular call just to suspend the season for a Monday at round 12 and get all the garbage rep footy done and dusted.

Wonder if QLD would be as generous in resting Ponga as we are?

Rhe reason Milf got moved from Fullback was due to being terrible under the high balls

Players would have to agree to less money which won’t happen. I’m perfectly fine with a tweak that involves origin/rep footy on stand alone weekends even chuck in city and country again.

Some have floated the idea at the end of the season after the finals but you’d have to move the trans Tasman tests so it wouldn’t work I dunno

We will potentially miss Ponga for 20% of the regular season due to origin commitments and recovery from origin. Thats without any major injuries. Its not right.

We need to remember this is why we bought Mann and Lino. Last year we had players fill in that were barely reserve grade quality now we at least have first graders to come in. I am confident our forward pack can lay a great platform for any player to score points

Love Ponga playing Origin because of the challenge and learning stuff both on and off the footy field from senior players and former players being in that camp but I’m Over the bludger rounds that are played those weeks too

100% people are forgetting we won against Souths with practically this team . We lost to Melbourne with Ponga . We lost a lot of games last year with Ponga playing but Pearce out . Pearce is 100% the key to our season . Ponga is Xfactor you need in tight games . If we are serious about doing anything this year . this is a game we should win with or without Ponga
