Boyd absolutely copped it from the crowd after the lino try and off the kickoffs. He even looked depressed.

It's probably been mentioned but wasn't it the best thing ever seeing Ramien steam roll Boyd hahaha.

I can watch it over and over.

It was fantastic to watch & it's a bit of justice seeing that happen to Boyd when he returns to Newcastle, but I couldn't help but feel sad for him in that crucial one specifically where Lino scored. He just fell over like an old man being bashed up by some young guys. As much as we all dislike him, I do hope he's alright mentally & just decides to give it away because he's past it.

I think he is missing daddy Wayne.

Boyd should just say ok I will play reserve grade for the next 2 seasons for $1.6 million or even better pay me out . I would love for Brisbane to be down 1.6 million for the next two seasons because they are still paying that piece of work lol.

It'd be far sweeter having him stink up the joint rather than getting paid out. Every other team would love having him in the opposing defensive line.

It would be quite controversial if they medically retire Boyd on mental health grounds, but it shouldn't be.
He clearly has a long history of depression and it wouldn't be hard to get doctors to sign off on it at all.
It would be just fans who would blow up if a physically healthy guy got medically retired.

Didn't expect that

I think Watson found his home at hooker, but he made comments after games that made you think he wasn't a particularly happy hooker (that's a reference for anyone who remembers the '60's).
Klemmer at lock might mean they want him to go for 80 minutes and spread himself around.
Tex Hoy is off to NSW under 20s camp on Friday, so don't know why he is taking up a spot.
