    What a weird match.
That first 20 of the second half gave me greys but might actually be a great sign for the team- suspect decisions and down to 12 men; all defence, pressure and crappy errors and they regathered, defended well and went on with it. I agree with Pearce's comments at the end- they are prepared for the fight and playing for each other- it's so good to see.
I just can't get over Klem- 4 weeks off, nearly 200m and tops the tackle count. My hero

Was a great win. We overcome missing ponga, Klein being broncs pocket ref, a ridiculous sin binning, and putting ourselves under pressure far too many times, and still gritted out a win.

One thing I've noticed- every game we've won this year we've breathed absolute fire at the start - it's like you'll know whether we'll win or not by the first set. General observation by me is that D Saf is always in the thick of the first couple of plays if we go on with it. Totally awesome.

I thought Fitz had his best game of the year, and maybe his best game in firstgrade.
It wasn't only the try, but he was there putting his hand up in both attack and defence all game.
He really looked like he could play SOO for the first time I thought.

    That was a weird game.
    Wtf were the refs on?
    Pearces attempts to find touch??????

The highlight was definently Ramien Steamrolling Boyd.

Next week will be hard against a full strength NZ And we won't have Klem, Ponga, Lee, Dan, Glasby and possibly Pearce.

Brown said in the press conference that it’s broken.

Our only two real options to replace Lee are Moga or Sione at centre with Hunt to the wing.
I suppose they could give Kiah Cooper a contract and play him next week.

Without barnett hogging the ball, Ramien had much more ball. What a surprise

Can they upgrade Star Toa for a wing spot?

Have to play Moga surely. If Moga cant crack an nrl run now I'd question whether Brown has any intention of playing Moga again.

With an actual half playing 5/8 ramien had much more ball, what a surprise.

They won't move Hunt to wing, he's been too good. And Sione gave us example 49 of why he's no good in the centres last night. A real shame Star Toa has been injured tbh.

Don't need to, he's one of the development players and they are all available for selection now. He's been injured for months though.

I think Moga will come in on the wing.

I wouldn’t wanna see Sione in the centres but Pearce has a habit of rushing out of the line. They were always gonna score regardless
And also it obvious they were targeting Boyd in attack. When KP comes back it will be back to normal

Toa is an 18 year old who has played 2 games of reserve grade.

Do we find out the final 36 man squad today?
    June 30?

All the contracts should be with the NRL by today, but I think there is "cold feet" period with new contracts where the player can back out if the want to for 1 or 2 weeks, and no one talks about the contract till that period is over, so if the players don't go public, the club can't for a little while.
In short, the 36 should be settled, but no one can tell us till the cool down period is over.

    Cooling off period was scrapped.

I expect the NRL will announce all the final squads after the last game tonight or perhaps tomorrow.

They might use the opportunity to keep Lino in the team & put Mann on the wing.

Ponga will be on origin duty.

Have a crack at naming a team with klemmer, ponga, glasby, Pearce and Dan out for origin, lee injured and Barnett suspended. Very unlikely they all get picked but would be an interesting looking knights side.
