Did exactly thos numbers last week.
115m 34tks i think it was?
People picking on 1 or 2 guys... the whole secong half was a fail from everyone. Enough pointing the finger at individuals i say.

Gags fails came from trying to hard at times and others from not being in the position he trains in.
Yates gives everything he has how anyone can knock him is beyond me!

Sione made poor errors and gave silly panalties,
Barnett gave away panalties for fun
Feeney does things to frantically and stuffs em up at times
U can go over everyone in the 17 today and point out a few things they did poorly.
Besides dan who was again a shining light.... id give him the C with Sione
I agree with most of this! But some of Danes efforts today were very poor! I love the bloke, but for 700K, all the best!

It's ridiculous money. Good luck to Souths and him living up to the price tag.

Lets get SKD or another centre in there who actually knows how to play centre. SKD may have some brain fart moments, but he also does a lot of good along with it.

Sadly it's best Gagai moves to Souths ASAP.
Best for both parties.
He's treading water here, and won't learn anything under Browny.
I wished Mullen did the same. Wasted talent.

You don't create a culture or win anything without a guy like him, two or three is a bonus! Give me effort over size any day of the week!

Burher and yates are very similar in heart pride and effort over size... can probs put sione in that list as well although his muscle on muscle at 5'11 101kg

Brown might be in a bit of trouble from the press conference.
He pointed out that we might have won if we got some 50/50 calls, but that underdogs don't get 50/50 calls in the NRL.

Ever since that Harrogan fool made it the measure of a ref that he could get the "best" side home more often than not, all refs favour the side most people think should win - and any ref who doesn't do that refs in reserve grade.
It might even be the best way to go for the NRL, but it sure makes it hard for us.
I think yesterday was a prime example of the ref kicking the favourites home. Two calls that didn't even look 50/50 cost us that game.

Turning the ball over on tackle 1 or 2 at least 5 times don't help you win a game either.

Brownie should save his breath for the half time talk.

I know it's a nice story, hard work pays off and all that, and the bloke will be handy as depth, but if the Knights are ever going to go anywhere they need to be more ambitious that having Yates in the 17.

What did he do so poorly for u to be on him so much??

31tks 1 missed 2 try saving tackles 62m 8runs 57mins

Last week
30tks none missed 125m 18runs 62min

Week before
29tks 1missed 33m 4runs 26mins

Thats better then Barnetts last 3 games and 9 less panalties as well.

Averages: 48 minutes, 73 metres, 30 tackles. Eh.

Is he going to get much better? Do we have $4m to spend, 10/11 players to buy (5 in the top 10 highest paid)? I look at our forwards and think Dan, Sione and Buhrer are the only ones I'd be happy with (at the moment) in a team that was thinking of doing something.

Just remember his a worker not a meter eater...
If we had a prop rotation that made 450m a game players like yates become more and more popular due to the cover work in D to complement the guys making meters.

Also remember his getting maybe 90k atm... and doing better then some.

To put it into perspective for u...
Sione 450k and current captain!

Panthers
42tks 4missed 7runs 58m 80mins

Raiders
41tks 5missed 10runs 81m 80mins

Titans
26tks 5missed 5runs 39m 62mins

Re Sione's missed tackles. How would those figures break down to above the waste and below the waste ? I know that sounds ridiculous but He never misses when going waste down yet misses plenty when going high. There was 1 effort yesterday where he looked very ordinary going high on Tamou but at the 3rd attempt went low and stopped him.

I think if we have a successful side we will need Guys like Yates. Lets say the twins, Sione, Ponga, Lamb, Cogger, Stone and few others turn out to be real good players they're all going to want big money to stay. Since we don't have the TPA's to top up the deals we might find our selves in the situation where we have a lot of really good high end players who take up most of the cap so we'll need guys like Yates who are solid players on small wages ......
