Interested to see how Moga goes.

No Saulo? Is he injured?

Anyone think the Herman thing is a bit of mind games by Brown and he will come in for Barnett?

Brown not really known for his mind games with team selections though.

theirs competition for spots and we have been told if players dont perform they will be dropped. i have no issue with someone getting first crack over herman based on his poor trial form. in saying that i feel (based on nothing :/ ) that it may be a rev up for herman and he will play come friday (maybe im hoping that, im not sure yet )

I think it'll be 1-17 as named, barring Hunt being unavailable in which case they might place Sione in centres and Herman off the bench. Put it this way: I imagine Sione or Barnett will be out of the team quickly if they do not play well enough, unless there are injuries to Glasby or one of the props allowing Herman in that way. Sione and Barnett will need to play well if they're to keep someone like Herman in reserves.

brown has always had a hard on for barnett, i think his alot higher up the pecking order then most think he should be

With Herman gone this is where the big minutes by Klemmer come into effect. Guerra to continue cleaning up the ruck after Glasby gets rested and Barnett to come out like cannon to put a shot on Gallen replacing Fitz/Sione on either side. Dan's improved fitness should have him see more minutes. Gavet starting to set the tone with aggression up front.

People have very short memories, Barnett won player of the year in 2017 and played 2018 with zero off-season.
Yeah Dan probably should have got the award in 2017 but Barnett had a fantastic season while other fan favourites were going ordinary.

He's a quality player. It's pretty simple. As he is the new whipping boy, one error on Friday and this forum will collectively lose their sh*t unlike anybody else at the moment. Sione has got an easier ride than I thought.

I'm Guessing Brown's plan is;
Gavett to play 1st and last 20(40min)
Glasby 1st 20 at lock then next 40 up front (60min).
Guerra to come on at 20min and play the rest of the game at lock (60min).
Klem to play 1st and last 30 (60min).
Dan to come on at 20min and play atleast untill the 60min mark (40min+).

It could work, but if any of them get injured we could end up with Barnett in the front row.
I think he'd go alright for a short stint.

Hopefully Brown is just giving Ese a wake up call and he will perform from round 2 onwards.
