FML about the weather forecast. Slippery fingers. Knights don't seem to play all that well in the rain.
Everything I read says heavy showers morn and few in the arv I reckon will be clear by 6 you should see the ground it will soak all the rain up......it’s looking slick

I hope so! Taking the kids and I'm really not keen for them to be getting wet. Will make the decision game day/arvo. Just wish it was fine so we could have a decent crack at the 2 points rather then working harder in the wet.

Mate, go to Kmart and get some emergency ponchos for a coupla bucks. I’m getting some tomorrow, coming prepared. Not wasting a 2 hour trip.

I'll be there, no way in hell I am missing round 1 home game. Whether the kids and missus will be with me depends on the weather.

Have to think a wet track will favour the sharks. They are a more cohesive unit than us you would think and would steam roll us with our flair in attack dampened.

soo keen. half day put in at work (contemplating a full day off now though). keen to get in there to see how tau goes in ressies.
also for anyone who goes to wests pre match and is as lazy as me they are running shuttles from wests to the ground.

Need Ese on the bench and Guerra to either start or go back to NSW cup, him coming off the bench will add zero.

And what role is Barnett gonna play? Either him or Guerra are playing lock, so the other one is gonna be playing front row? If that's the case, Ese'ese blows them out of the park as a front rower. Or maybe as a pointless second-row replacement? Pretty dumb selection. No doubt it will be a long forgotten discussion shortly though with weekly injuries.

Barnett will fill in for Sione/Fitzy I suppose. I’d be surprised if Brown thinks Sione has 80 minutes in him. It wasn’t long ago people were concerned about his fatigue in his decision making and without him fully finding his feet at 2nd row it seems like a good move. With Fitzy’s defence not fully up to scratch either, a 80 minute performance could be pushing it in regards to his attitude in tackles.

Klemmer has really changed the team with his ability to play big minutes and churn out metres (averaged 180m last year). This gives us the ability to have Guerra play the boring role of making sure we’re watertight in d. Ideally when Brown trusts our defence he’ll unleash Herman to give us the offensive spark Guerra can’t provide via the bench.

Barnett can provide spark via a big hit, runs a great line, and can provide a cheeky kick or pass as well.

Guerra is a tacklebot and doesn't have any spark due to age. - Hence the bench.

Jones and King dropped from the 21 man squad.
They are saying Saulo broke a bone in his foot at training.

Pretty obvious from tonight's game the refs have been told to "let the game flow" & not award so many penalties. Let's hope the Knights have been working on their wrestling then cause even though the Broncos didn't look fit enough the Storm were back to their old tricks & weren't really penalised too much for it.

Bit of a Catch 22, it was good to see less stoppages & fatigue play a bigger part but don't want to go back to the days of WWE, chicken wings, holding down, arm bars, crushers etc
