Klemmer and Dan play long minutes. Guerra comes on for Glasby and doesn't go off, Glasby plays prop in his second stint I'm thinking.

But as you say I'm still confused. Fitz and whoever starts out of Sione/Barnett can play very close to 80 minutes, so what does the bench guy do? And already have Mann as utility cover.
 
Trials don't mean anything apparently... I'm not sure it was Sione at fault but the left edge was not good defensively.

Besides, I watched 2018.

Riddle me this. If Sione is such a gun centre why did the club go out and buy a replacement for him at right centre, add Hunt, and pencil Moga in at left centre on his return from injury? With Brown now saying he is 4th or 5th choice at the position.

Oh man I dunno why I'm so peeved about it. Ese carried our pack along with dan last year. He all but deserves a spot in the 17. Hard to compare him with Sione and Barnett but he was MILES ahead of them. If 1 of them are on the bench they would want to learn how to make metres and fast. :fist::fist:

I also don't know why they would change a winning combo of ramien and eddy lee. The knights do some strange things that really push the buttons sometimes. I mean I know decisions need to be made sometimes but why fix something that's not broke? As for Sione he needs to nail 1 possie to be anything but a clubmen.

He was great for us last year but I disagree that that counts for anything frankly. New preseason and new recruits means spots must be earned. I think we’re better with Herman in the team replacing one of Sione or Barnett. But if it means that those two have earned spots and Herman destroys in Cup for a few weeks and forces his way back in the side, then that’s fine by me.

What a load of bollocks. Players get judged every game. Ese is by far superior and you play your best players regardless. 1 off "trial" and his supposedly dropped. There has to be more to this we don't know of. NSW cup is no place for Herm.

Apparently his a better forward than Ese too if Hunt plays in the centre.

Wonder what the excuse is when he strikes out in the backrow this time?

No, it’s not bollocks. It’s my opinion and you have yours. Like I said, I agree that we’re better with Herman in the team at the expense of Sione or Barnett. The preseason is long and assuming both Sione and Barnett are picked today, then they’ve clearly done something right over that time. It’s not necessarily that Herman has done something wrong.
 
When Herman has a good run Brown in a press conference will say " Herman is going better now that he's got the off field stuff in order." I don't know exactly what it means but it's a line used by Coach Brown more than once.

My understanding is that if they can't release anyone in time, it's either forfeit the round, or release the most recently signed player.

In this case it would be Seg, if dropping his contract doesn't bring them under it'd have to be Johnson. Given Seg is probably on near minimum wage he could hypothetically be on thin ice.

That'd be some sweet justice in the wake of their premiership-winning season rort
 
Seg is not registered and won't be. They need to release someone and bring someone else in on minimum wage so they still meet the minimum player criteria. If they can't by the weekend, the last signed player has to sit out. That would still be Johnson as far as I'm aware.

Dont know what happened to Segy, 4yrs agi he was Dally M hooker of the year and now his on stuff all and struggled getting that gig.
