In RLW it stated that the Eels are shopping Inu around to ease salary cap pressure and Newcastle may be interested, especially if Gidley is out for an extended period of time.

The article stated the Knights are one of a few clubs that have pennies left in the salary cap:)

I think a half more than a prop, I mentioned somewhere that we have Con Mika, Joel Edwards and Sione Tovo who I would promote before even considering another prop. Back on topic, we don't need Inu. We have alot of depth now and we should be giving our own outside backs a chance first before releasing and realising later what they could have become e.g. Ennis.
 
Perhaps a move north will spark Inu? A fresh start has been a catalyst for a lot of players to excell, just like Hodges. If Inu isnt asking for too much then maybe we should take a stab at him for a one year contract? If worse comes to worse we can drop him at the end of next year. Not to mention we are in need of a kicker now that Gid's is out. I'm not saying Pato is a bad kicker but Inu can really hit them sweet.
 
Personally i reckon Inu will be greatly fit in Newwy since Doogs is retirering at the end of this year. Go Knights!
 
James i've been wondering if inu should come to newwy ever since the middle of last year and some how they have read my mind lol.
 
I think Inu gives off body language that says he doesn't want to be there, when he is off he really is off.

When he is on though can be very destructive.

Massive rumour this though, we haven't signed a big name player for years.
 
Inu wouldnt be a bad signing.

But id prefer we sign a prop, maybe offload Ben Cross if he doesnt prove anything this season and sign an actual big name prop. But knowing the Knights....highly unlikely.
 
I know we have plenty of backs, but if the rumour is true and the reason hes coming is so he can be our replacement fullback then by all means sign him.

If he's coming just to play wing/centre well then i don't want him.

Yeh, its a good old case of putting 2 and 2 and 2 together.

Freed money from wicks, Inu hinting he wants out, and gidley getting injured.

I wonder if they realise clubs already have a back up plan well before the season starts, which will most likely be more effective then bringing in a new player 3 weeks out from the start of the season.
 
Inu could be anything,There was talk of him going to souths as wesser could retire...but thats not the case.If he gets his head right he could be a great signing for you guys.
 
The Knights don't need him, we've got Sau, MacDougall, Lulia, Wes & Kevin Naiqama, Vuna, possibly Mata'utai. They all can play centre. We have so much depth.
