Can you bet on QLD to win the next 2 series?

I hope so cause that is guaranteed money.

Haha i hope he does well im so sick of them damn Queenslanders. Ricky is a good coach but he needs good players its not like the coach is the one on the field.

I think it's a great move.

He wont be involved with an NRL side, he can concentrate on the players the whole year round.

It's worked with Meninga, it's a smart move by NSWRL.

He has won series before, he's been there, he knows what it takes.

The problem with bellamy was almost half the queensland side was storm players, Now ricky has no club he doesent care about hurting the opposition.

I'm not sure on this, there are some aspects of his coching I enjoy but there are others I do not agree with like him saying Pearce for captain.

I'm happy with the appointment of Stuart as Blues coach..its clear the Gould doesn't want to coach anyway.

This should see the end of the QLD dominance.

That coz your man-crush Gidley won't be captain?

Sad to say he won't be anywhere near the starting side anyway.

It's a good move to have a fulltime coach. The jury is out for me on Stuart's Origin coaching ability, he's won one series, and that was mainly thanks to Johns.

Be interesting to see how it turns out.

BTW: moved to rep section.

WHAT i think gids was a great captain.

You misunderstood me mate, I said that I DON'T like the idea of Stuart choosing Pearce as captain.

Hey, I don't think Gidley should be captain as much as the next person, but no need for insults just because I said I dont agree with his methods of appointing an overrated player with less than 3 origin games experience as captain!
