Not sure what Browny sees in him.
Bird would rather niggle than win a footy match.

Bird isn't a leader.
He's a wannabe thug.
If we are going after an experienced player and leader then give me Luke Lewis everyday of the week.
I rather one year of Luke Lewis than paying massive overs for a cry baby in Bird.

Mate i dont want to argue with u, but id have Tariq back over Lewis.
Lewis does nothing in most games and has zero leader ability about him.... his a solid player that follows a leader.... Goes good behind Gallen though average without him.

Bird takes the lead and drags the team with him.
 
You've got to be kidding.
Lewis has easily been the Sharks best player the last month or 2 and probably their most consistent all year.

Add the aggressive nature to it.

I know id want on the field with me not against.

Compare both the Sharks and Titans packs...

Titans:
8. Douglas
9. Peats
10. James
11. Paasi
12. McQueen
13. Bird

Sharks:
8. Fifita
9. Ennis
10. Prior
11. Lewis
12. Graham
13. Gallen

Shark pack kills the Titans pack, workload would be more spread out between them while Bird would have to take on more of the workload with the Titans. My point is proven more when you see who each team has on the bench...

I'd give a year or 2 deal for Lewis in a heart beat. Bird, not so much.
 
Why would bird take on more? I'm not understanding. Most of them are experienced apart from paasi. Your argument is null and void. The titans pack each have 100+ games to their name bar James and paasi who have 90 odd and nearly 50 games respectively.

Oh Ethan. So if you had done something wrong in your life I'm sure at some stage you would want some forgiveness? The past is the past. People change mate. You can't deny the guy is/was a footballer that brings his A game.

So following that logic, you want to sign a bloke who isnt used to carrying a forward pack over the guy that is, knowing thats exactly what they will be doing here?

If we were LUCKY enough to get Bird here,
U dont need to be friends with the guy Ethan!

U also dont need to cheer him on, but the club/team u can..

He would be an absolute gem in our side, the Saifiti boys along with Sione, Barnett and Korbs would become better players over night with Bird leading the way.

Its about football and a team that needs help.... badly!! So call in a nutter that is all about going flat out and who wont take a backwards step in any situation on a football field.

Bird ticks every box possible to what our pack needs.
