He's doing a great job.
It's all about retention now that the junior pathways have been fixed.
Plus his purchases of young guns such as McKewen and Manu.
If we can continue to retain the players we need we won't need to go to market for established first graders very often.

That's how it should be for teams like us and Penrith with our catchment areas.
 
His work history says he will move on after 3 to 5 years - which I think is OK because we largely have the squad signed for the next 5 to 10 years and it's up to the coaches now.
His job here is 90% done and should be 100% done by the end of next year.

He said on that other podcast he did that he hoped Newcastle was the last club he works at.

He seems as good as any at identifying young talent so I hope he does stick around long term.
