Paul Vautin's brother passes away

my point was that i was not refering to him in the thread i was refering to fattys bro passing away and the fact the blokes parents are ****ers for even contemplating legal action! i didnt actually bring him up untill u said it im over it lets move on ay
 
Another bloody argument!! Every week there seems to be some forceful exchange of views or other. This is a pretty random issue to be getting steamed up over (although I concede the importance to the bouncer and his family, and Fatty).

There are stories in the paper of claims in court over the treatment of disabled people. Some are genuine concerns, others are spurious trouble-making litigations. I have a vested interest in things like this because Mrs PK has progressive Multiple Sclerosis - so I know first hand that life does sh*t things to good people.

There are a few things that none of us know about other than what's written in the media:
1. Why are the bloke's parents taking this action rather than the bloke himself? Is his condition so severe that they must take care of his affairs? Are they just stirring up the media after seeing their son treated like this in the media? Parents of disabled children see their offspring treated badly throughout their childhood - they are rightfully protective. The upshot is that we just don't know.

2. The club owner will not have in-depth knowledge of the bloke's condition. He might have been flattered at the attention of the press and said something in the heat of the moment that may not accurately reflect the bloke's condition. We just don't know.

3. Fatty made an assumption. That's his crime. OK it was wrong but who doesn't make assumptions? There may have been a lot of drunk people in the club that night and it might have been fair to assume that all QLDers were partying after the win. I don't know that. I doubt Fatty would have been so disparaging had he known beforehand - who would? We just don't know. The fact that Fatty's brother has now died after suffering with Down's Syndrome muddies the situation a little.

Can we all just let this lie please? I'm getting a little sick of seeing small exchanges of views blow up into large arguments over petty crap.
 
yeah pk i onlt posted it for the issue that fatty's brother died and i get steamed up when i here people say disabled people shouldn't have jobs etc i have a close friend of the family who is disabled and i care heaps for her thats why i get steamed up

I don't know if that is pointed at me and I don't care.

I just want to make one thing clear. I am happy for Disabled People to have a career a family friends your fella has Down Syndrome and I would hope that when he grows up he can find a suitable career and be very successful.

I could ramble on but I said I wouldn't post on the matter again so I wont.

All this will definitely get more viewers for the Footy Show tomorrow night.
Hope Fatty's family is ok, he should be fine with the case regarding the comment he made last week.

But dont personally attack someone. I know you disagree strongly but there is no need to call other people names etc. Ill leave it up to AK or James to decide if they accept that post.
 
OK fair enough i just thought that he deserved to be told off coz what he said was completely wrong and i think the world of disabled ppl coz they're just like us just unfortunate that this happened to them, like imagine if u were that way..

The anger is all over, no need to bring it up again. Back to the forum of love!

Poor Fatty, he must be the saddest guy going around at the moment. This whole silly lawsuit thing, he is still struggling with depression from nearly getting killed a year or two back, and now his brother dies. I hope he is alright!
 
I have read that he will be making an appearance on the footy show to apologise to the family! His brothers funeral was today so i say good on him for still goin on the show, he might host the show if not sterlo will host
