Tell ya one thing, if Levi aint good enough to be a starting hooker next yr, id be looking for a new 9
It is a waste having 2 hookers in the 17
Not if they play multiple positions. Just thinking about it now, that's probably why they are keen on Griffin over Lichaa & Rein.
Yep that's what I meant. A specialist hooker is a waste i.e Farah, SegeyaroNot if they play multiple positions. Just thinking about it now, that's probably why they are keen on Griffin over Lichaa & Rein.
The other idea could be
8 dan
10 Ese'ese
11 Buhrer
12 Guerra
13 Lillyman
14 Barnett
15 jake
16 King
17 Pythian/ Griffin/ lichaa
That would keep a tight powerful middle and strong backrow
I just can't leave Fitzgibbon out, I think he's got so much more improvement and is going to score us points week in week out

Im happy to drop Barnett lol.
Guy pi$$es me off with stupid shight.
It is a waste having two hookers in 17, but even worse to have none if serious injury occurs. Can't believe we want 7-8 props, 5-6 backrowers but only one full time real hooker, fill in is ok on day of match but not long term, Lichha.
Long term, are you sure?Tom Starling, Coggar could do it, Pearsal Pythian plenty of options and couple of under 20's boys if really desperate

Starling is a hooker and a very good one at that.Long term, are you sure?
Tom Starling is a remarkable little player.
You look at him and think he can't be a capable defender, but he always makes his tackles, and the way big guys go down when they run into him is just incredible to watch.
He averages over 40 tackles a game in NYC, and in reserve grade he was making 1 missed tackle for about every 40 made till a few weeks ago (he has missed a few more recently).
In NYC he was our best defender by a million miles, and our best attacking player as well - and he is probably our best defender in reserve grade now.
When Levi was the same age as Starling he was playing NYC and playing for around 50 minutes a game, making less than 30 tackles, and sometimes ran over 100 metres.
When Starling plays NYC he plays 80 minutes, makes over 40 tackles, sometimes 50, and averages over 100 metres a game.
It takes a while to get over the fact that he is tiny, but once you get over that and watch what he does, he is a freakish talent. A bit like George N'Daira or Issac De Gois, but with a motor big enough to go hard for 80 minutes.
Starling is a hooker and a very good one at that.
Though im definitely for signing another hooker of some kind as long as they are cheap.
Personally would of held onto Randell for 150k.
