Would like to see Pauli have a great preseason. Shed a few kgs and play lock.

I like Pauli Pauli on a edge , he showed glimpses of being a damaging wide , I'd love for him to get fit and come good because he has big potential

With his size he should be playing frf for us limited minutes but huge impact.

The thing is you can't be playing short minutes with these interchanges unless he is going to come out and run every ball up at his fastest pace. I see what you are talking about being damaging out wide but I think lack of fitness and footwork will keep him out of an edge jumper.

He's more of a Kasiano type player. We should t try and make him something he isn't. Be a TRex all over if we try for big minutes.

    id have korbs at lock

    8 D Saifiti
    9 Rory
    10 Signed player/ Mataora
    11 Bird
    12 Sione
    13 Sims

    14 Levi
    15 J Saifiti
    16 Barnett
    17 Mataora/Pauli/Paea

personally id like Sione back in the centres, his running can be awesome out wide if he gets more ball there... D is still a worry.

That's a pretty handy team. Only change I'd make is Rory and Levi swap purely for backup if we lose a back. Do you think Mataora could make a 2rf love him but he's not a big body?

Mataora could be a lock or prop thats about it imo.

Rory has a much stronger frame and almost zero missed tackles.... if we are to have a chance it has to be from the start of the game! stopping momentum stops points.

Levi is great but better from 25-30mins and playing 50min or so with Rory giving Korbs a 10min rest at some point and having both 9s on the field for a bit.

For me that 10 or so minutes when we have them both on the field could be a point where we can open up a game... if timed righ wewould have the twins fresh on thefield to gain the momentum as well.

Josh King will be one of the big improvers next season.
I've never been a massive fan, but this year he made big strides while still only training part time.

Billy i know u love the kids as do i.

though id like to see a few earn the nrl jumper by being a stand out in Cup for half a season at least.
King is that type of player im talking about... has huge potential but its kinda been handed to him at this point, and imo his not even close to nrl week after week even on the bench.

Would love to see all our kids earn their stripes first. I have no doubt Browny would agree with you. We just have to hope all these kids take something out of being thrown in the deep end and are better players for it. With one or two more signings most of them will be in the lower grades anyway. Personally, I think Dan Saifiti and Levi will be the only young guys to be in our pack, and I have them pencilled in on the bench.

Oops. Nearly forgot Sione. He starts every day of the week haha.

Why does everyone have Bird playing on an edge, he's been a lock at the titans for the last two and a half years.

The young guys will make huge improvements in the off season, because that's what young guys do.
Mataora, Paea, Bird and our halves have either peaked or are on the downhill slide.

I don't know why people have trouble seeing that. It happens every year.
Last year the Saifiti brothers must have improved 30 or 40% in the off season, as did Lamb, and the year before that Levi went from a 40 or 50 minute NYC player to a guy who could play 80 minutes in reserve grade and 60 in firstgrade.
This isn't rocket science - you put 20 year olds into 60 hour a week training and they make huge strides.
