NSW Cup 2026

[Billy]

The website gives the De Courcey tries to Mel Nonu - but definately De Courcey

won 20 to 16 after being down 12 - 16 at halftime

• Jacob Taulani 9'
• Diesel Hagan 36'
• Melchizedek Nonu 51'
• Melchizedek Nonu 78'

[Billy]

The winning try by De Courcey might be his best yet.
He got the ball about 15 out in the last minute with the score 16 all, and he just struggled through several defenders and eventually managed to put the ball over the line with an outstretched arm - just wouldn't give up

[Billy]

Decourcey struggling through about 5 defenders to score

[Frank McWilliams]

We need a few injured 1st graders to come back so that pushes some of our fringe players back to Cup for a huge effort to get into finals position

[Billy]

Strongest side we have named all year with Saulo, Jones and Hola our starting middles.
Liam Wilkinson has been brought up from Newcastle Wests to bolster our hookers, with Hagan starting and Wilkinson on the bench.
3rd placed Knights V 14th placed Manly at Newcastle CofE.
We should lock down 3rd position with a win, but will need a massive win to be any chance of getting a top 2 spot.

Game is at MJS is it not

[Billy]

Broadcast has started at an empty MJS - so they have moved it from the CofE

sun is out - looks great

[Billy]

Tex Hoy scores a solid try for Manly.
Knights 0 - 4 Manly after 5 minutes

[Billy]

6 - 4
Brodie Jones crashes over next to the posts after Saulo and Hola both do strong runs.

[Billy]

6 - 10
Tex Hoy is running like a man possessed - I think he's touched the ball twice and run through Matt Hunter twice.

[Billy]

12 - 10
Brodie Jones gets on the end of a side to side backline movement to score his second.
Hagan made the break and passed to Nonu who had a big run, then it went through hands to the left side and McCarthy had a run and passed to Jones back infield.

[Lynchyknight]

One of the worst halves of footy I’ve ever watched

[Billy]

12 - 10 at halftime

Saulo did a strong 30 minutes.
Hagan has gone to lock and Wilkinson to hooker.
Jones is probably our best - replaced after 35 minutes.

[Billy]

One of the worst halves of footy I’ve ever watched

fair.

[Billy]

12 - 16
Hoy got the try assist that time.

De Courcey is playing on, but looks like he has a groin strain.

[Lynchyknight]

Losing to a side that is dead last and won 1 game all year is shocking from a top 3 side

[Billy]

12 - 20
I can't describe how much luck Manly had in those two tries.

[Billy]

12 - 24
Good try at least - not a funny bounce from a sloppy kick like the last 2.
