I would get no confidence from that. Like us, they’d have their few good tippers that are honest and know, then the supporters that try to be positive, then the negative Nancy’s.

I think you are wrong to be honest. I think there is no way they will score 46. They will be the first team this season to fade Canberra and it will be fifty four plus to 4.

The problem I have with this game is, Pattie and Starling, when Walters came on in the second half he saw how weak we were through the middle and kept going making breaks, now Pattie and Starling love a dart out of dummy half so if we don’t fix that than it could be a long day

Great achievement but also a concern. We are normally specials at ballsing up milestone games. Hope we can change that on Sunday.

Fwiw, Frizell's last milestone game (250th) was also against Canberra in Canberra and we came away with the win

Its horrible! I hate going there, it has terrible facilities, terrible seating and terrible parking (I just park along the highway and walk over)
But if they did make changes there where would they play?? At the Brumbies oval in Erindale? Not enough seats.
Big changes need to happen to that stadium, it would be nice to host other events there..

The stadium is now 45 years old and has never had a major renovation. The ACT gov refuses to consider a replacement as they claim its still fit for purpose for a couple more decades.

The Raiders/Brumbies were basically told to suck it up or find somewhere else to play. The dreams of a stadium in the city will never eventuate.

Ponga has no excuse tbh. With his pedigree and raw ability any shortcoming is obviously just a lack of practice. Everything technical he do better than everyone else, but he sucks at kicking goals.

The club should be all over him about it given our lack of options and how essential it is to winning big, tight games.

If we had a great goal kicker, we'd likely be in the top 4 rn. It makes an enormous difference

I'd much rather Ponga goal kicking. He goes through phases where he looks like an amazing goal kicker, then goes to trash the next few games. I'm never confident when Smith is goal kicking, he seems rushed and nervous to me. Perhaps we were just giving Ponga a rest as he's coming back from a quad injury.

I mean, KP strikes the ball a lot better than Smith. If I needed either of them to hit it from the sideline to save the Earth, its KP. Smith just isnt as talented.

Ponga started the year off well. Then had the off day against Dragons. Obviously missed a chunk with injuries but was 12/14 before dragons game and then kicked 4/9 in that game, 4/7 against titans and 1/4 against sharks. Any other games he’s kicked in have been above 80% but the sharks and dragons one especially he had shockers

This will be a tougher game than the Broncos. I can’t see the Raiders dropping off and playing poorly. Lose this game and they won’t play finals so expect a big game from them. I hope it’s a dry track on Sunday. Although it’s crap weather in Canberra the 2pm time slot is good. We beat them I think it was last year or the year before on a similar time slot down there.

Simi vs Braddy on the edge will be a good battle. Spewing we couldn’t keep Simi, could see he was going to be a good player. But Braddy is still better and will handle him.
