NRL Round 23 - Knights Vs Panthers - 6:00pm Friday 8th August - McDonald Jones Stadium

Just watched the replay because I’m a gluten for punishment. Obviously we were thoroughly and completely outclassed in all aspects but I’ve gotta give the officials a wrap. Their consistency to favour Penrith for the entire 80 and not wavering once was admirable. Never even considered a square up.

He actually played well, better than all three halves combined.

Good kicking game, not scared to take the line on, tried things like cut outs, he has good IQ.

One thing I saw was he wanted to pass to KPP but saw one guy was blocking the pass so he runs between the gap of two defenders and offloads it (KPP then drops it) but he showed he is consistently thinking.

Put it this way he is better than Cogger, Hastings and Gamble also a better kicker
 
It’s a bit of a worry that he’s clearly more talented than guys we’ve been relying on like Cogger & Gamble, but is also one of the despised Eels in history due to the belief he played so **** he could have only cracked the side due to nepotism. Don’t think Manly fans are upset he left either.

I would give him a go at 7 next week and Hastings the 6. I thought Hastings played with a lot of effort when he was picked and defends reasonably as well

I dont really care to much that other fans don’t care he left as it means borderline nothing.

I remember when Meany, Hosking and Simi go not many cared, I’m sure some did but a lot didn’t and now look at them.

More recently people bagged Jenkins and was happy he left and now look at him, sometimes people just need change and the right people around them.

The hate he got at the Eels was incredible and unfair, his last name was Arthur and that’s all people cared about and were blinded due to bias, don’t get me wrong he wasn’t great by any means but the belief he was horrible is flat out wrong, I challenge anyone to watch his games without bias he was never horrible.

And that was painfully obvious at the game.

Yeah I do agree with all of this (except the Jenkins part, he’s only looked good when the team’s been going good IMO).

We might as well roll the dice, I'm certainly not happy watching us fail every 1st half. Change something. In fact there's not too much further to fall for rock bottom. Whatever AOB is doing isn't working with this group for whatever reason.
