NRL Round 19 - Knights Vs Rabbitohs - 2:00pm Sunday, 12th of July - Accor Stadium

Just listening to Chad Townsend pod review the Knights game and made mention of when Jye Gray came on the field why was the game plan kick for Dom. From memory Brown did kick once but in was to deep.
Easy to say from commentators and podcasters, but reality is we rarely had a chance to kick to Doms wing. In the second half especially we either didn’t get to the kick or barely got out of our own end! We also attack to the right, so it takes out the cross field bomb at times.

David Fifita must have grown up as either a Manly or Parra fan or from a family of diehards of either club who haven't forgiven us for beating in the grand final as he always carves us up.

Haven't seen any mention of a reason but he used to wear that headgear in u/20s and his first couple of NRL games for the Cowboys, including his debut against the Broncos with Jai Arrow in the side. Could've been a nod to that. Could've just forgotten his regular one and had to borrow one from someone else, too.

A few losses won’t be the worst thing in the coming weeks. Losses hopefully provoke improvement and attention to detail, scrapping wins hasn’t taught us much.
Agreed, although i thought the win against Phins was pretty impressive. The other wins where we were scraping by we weren't playing the best.

Not sure I buy into that. There were plenty of opportunities late in the tackle count to steer the ball out to the left so they could set up a hanging kick over to the right but they fluffed their lines and took away the space.

He's right though
Yea,
ANZ stadium is the worst to actually watch the game.
Great day out if you get invited to a box with food and beer (been a few times), But still not the best to actually watch the football.
Rubbish to get to and park by car.
Train, not much better.

Getting out by train if it’s a big game or concert … complete shemozzle every time. It’s like lord of the flies trying to get out of there.

I’ve been on call and it’s been busy. I got home just in time to see Fifita knee Marzhew and get away with it, then got called out again pretty much straight away.
While I was filthy there were no consequences for that act, like someone else on here mentioned and I couldn’t agree more, I was even more dirty on the lack of action from team mates. I know it’s only jersey pulling and some agressive makeout techniques these days, but they could’ve at least look like they cared.
Anyway, that’s nearly all I got to see, so I can’t comment on much more. I mainly came on to have a laugh at all the Knights fans pages on Facebook saying it would be an easy win 😂. Been a while since we’ve won easy and we’ve played a lot worse teams than Souths.
Hopefully this is the kick in the arse they needed to start focussing again
