I might of enjoyed it more if i didnt feel like i was 1km away. Accor is such a horrible place. Add 50minutes in the carpark at the end too. Bad bad day 🤣🤣
 
Was a hard game to watch, nearly turned the TV off at halftime but stuck with it. We had a few good performers but most were ok but just ok. Losing those two tries in early first half hurt but justified, even getting one would have changed the game but maybe not the result.
Poor passes, silly mistakes cost us dearly, couple of tries against us the result.
Hopefully big improvement next week along with Best and McEwen fit as well as Marzhew
 
It’s a good sign for where we are now that the frustration with that performance was so keenly felt. In other seasons that game would have been a “promising signs” one lol. Now it’s “we know they can do better than this”.

I’m still in the same place I was. If we get to 16 wins, finish top 4, win a finals game and therefore make a prelim, with the improvement you can then reasonably project in the forward pack, and the players other teams will be losing, I will be picking us as one of the premiership favourites in 2027 and 2028.

Therefore, huge game next week.

Going to Moore Park is worse. If you live in some parts of the Eastern Suburbs within a bus ride or a cheap uber it's probably fine but everyone else hates going to it whether it be a drive or public transport. Was extremely lucky I found a place that 2P and got in and out within the time.

Parking and Public Transport wise it has it all over Moore Park, but my only beef yesterday with Accor was they had limited openings for food and drink stations where there were big ques, and if you don't want to wait in line you basically better off going during each half (which is way quicker)

Had no idea what that six again was that led to their try on halftime either. Just seemed one of those just cause types (and as usual because it was Jai's bday)
 
Frustrating that it has to come down to a loss to maybe wake us up, we’ve been average for past month or so. Game has slowed up on the 6 agains and few players out stifling the flow of attack.

I’m not as confident about Sharks but McEwen and Best are massive ins if they’re good to go.

We still scored 5 times but through mistakes it didn’t work out.

Gagai is either phoning it in or just showing his age, the execution and defence has been way way off.
 
Disappointing result from an erratic performance. I thought the boys put in a solid defensive effort, but my biggest concern over the last month has been the regression in our attack.

Earlier in the season, I was really enjoying the eyes-up football that led to offloads and a more direct attacking style. Lately, though, we've become far too lateral, going side to side without asking enough questions of the defence.

Maybe we just haven't adjusted to the slower ruck speed yet, but it feels like we've lost the attacking intent that made us so dangerous earlier in the year. There were a few offloads in the comeback but too late unfortunately.

He's been a great servant to our club and the game, but I really think we'd be best served playing Hunt, who offers aerial threat/protection, in his spot for the rest of the season and having Gags on the extended bench.

A real coaching dilemma for Holbrook with a hard run-in and a lot of competition for those finals spots.

Just on the Smith conversation, I do think he plays better football when is playing every week in the same position. He just looks lost at times when he gets slotted back on.
He has been good this year but he has some shockers in him.

Them flogging the Sharks definitely works in our favour I think. Hopefully they’ll fall into the trap of thinking they just need to show up to win, which is something they can often do

The Knights lost and them knowing the Sharks put on 66 points will hopefully have them turn up with the right attitude. Play straight and hard and win the right shift the ball. Stop moving the ball sideways off slow play the balls and trying to run around other teams. It’s a night game, so that’s out of the question anyway
 
Just listening to Chad Townsend pod review the Knights game and made mention of when Jye Gray came on the field why was the game plan kick for Dom. From memory Brown did kick once but in was to deep.

Public transport to Accor is horrific. Give me Moore park any day.
