Well the coaching staff still believe at full strength Sharpe is 6. It’s unique though when Ponga is out Sharpe is first choice FB. Not many teams would move there’d spine around. Basically an opportunity to get smith in the halves they do that. It may change in the future but for they make up of the team this is our they are playing it.

Yeah I was going to say the same thing, you could look at points scored by the team with the various halves combinations, but other players in and out makes that pretty random too.

I think it just comes down to personal preference, I have no problems with anyone who thinks Smith should be starting for us, totally valid opinion.

Are you sure you are not thinking of Ponga when he let the ball bounce on 3 different occasions. Well he didn't let it bounce he was to deep and couldn't get to it on the full. Can't remember who the Knights faced but tries came from 2 of those kicks.
