NRL Round 17 - Knights Vs Eels - 5:30pm Saturday 29th June - McDonald Jones Stadium

It's got nothing to do with Tuala, that's just the way Gagai plays. Always has

The ball hog

As has been said a millions times , don't get the hate for Tuala . Not costing us much , always gives 100%. Not like some high profile forwards . I hope we resign him even if it's only for reliable depth .
100% not even playing a key position. Halves has always been our biggest issues for a decade now sadly. We did alright when Pearce arrived with Ponga but that was a missed opportunity to do something i believe

I’m not a Pyrce fan boy. I’m more an anti Cogger and get in anyone but him! If he doesn’t overplay his hand and focus on his defence then hopefully he will go well. I reckon that’s what the coach will be telling him. A lot of pressure on the kid.
Same. Not a fan boy. Im a for **** sake try something different boy and stop persevering with Cogger

Watching Pryce in the pre season trials, I thought he was a shoe in to get a run in first grade. He is a genuine ball player and is sorely what is missing from our team.

If Pryce is in, my hope will be he will be playing second fiddle to Hastings and only allowed to take his shot in set play situations or when it comes as a surprise option.
In reserve grade he gets the ball when he wants it, and he always wants it, and the opposition expects him to get it, and swamp him in defence as soon as he does.
I think his kicks for himself and dummy and run options might work better when everyone isn't expecting them.

His best games this year for mine have been the round 3 game he played alongside Hastings and his last couple when it was noticeable a few times he was on the blind with nothing really in and he was telling the dummy half to go open. Hopefully he is picking his times better.

It's going to be funny if Pryce gets a run and then has a standard game of his like in cup and then the knives come out

We should remember that Pryce is only 21. If he were 3 weeks younger he could play Flegg this year.
To put it another way, Liam Sutton, his halves partner in reserves, is only 2 and a half months younger.
If you just look at Pryce as another kid in our squad, he's a good prospect. If we weren't paying him good top 30 money, I'd consider him as one of our top young prospects.

Just to be clear, I have nothing against him and would love nothing more for him to absolutely blitz it.....however there are some saying he needs a run ASAP but will rip into him if he has a bad game.
